JoJo Siwa reveals when she started to 'feel something' for Chris Hughes: 'Wasn’t looking to fall for him'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: JoJo Siwa is opening up about how her relationship with 'Celebrity Big Brother UK' castmate Chris Hughes turned romantic.
The pair met during the filming of the UK reality show earlier this year and quickly formed a connection. While the bond initially seemed friendly, Siwa said her feelings deepened after the show ended and she had time to reflect.

During the June 6 episode of the 'Rosebud With Gyles Brandreth' podcast, Siwa said, “It’s a beautiful journey. I don’t know how the universe [aligned] for Chris to come into my life.”

Siwa, 22, and Hughes, 32, met on 'Celebrity Big Brother UK' in April, forming a strong connection while inside the Big Brother house.
“I wasn’t looking to fall for him. He wasn’t looking to fall for me. We just were having so much fun together,” she recalled.
“We were having a laugh together. Whenever one of us was down. It was the other one of us that helped," she shared.

After exiting the show and ending her relationship with Kath Ebbs, Siwa began to see her connection with Hughes in a new light.
“I knew all these realizations [about] my life … things that I wasn’t happy and things that I was being OK with that I should never have been OK with,” Siwa shared as per US Weekly.
“Over a little bit of time, I realized that I started to feel something for Christopher that I never intended to, but I couldn’t not feel,” she added.
The two have since gone public with their relationship, confirming their romance earlier this week.

Siwa said the couple’s favorite word is now “serendipity,” which they discovered while watching 'Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?' together.
“The word serendipity is Christopher and I’s favorite word now,” Siwa told Gyles Brandreth.
“If you read the definition of it, it’s essentially finding love when you’re least looking for it," she added.
She explained, “The answer to the winning question was serendipity. And somebody replied and said [to Hughes], ‘Do you know what serendipity is? It’s literally you and JoJo.’ And we Googled it and both of us freaked out because we were like, that’s crazy that that was the million-dollar question answer. And that is exactly what we’ve really struggled to explain.”
'The Dance Moms' alum confirmed the relationship during a June 2 interview with The Guardian after sharing several selfies on social media.
“It’s not platonic anymore, and it’s been a beautiful development, a beautiful connection, and I’m absolutely head over heels for him and he’s the same way,” said Siwa told the publication as MEAWW reported.
