Joe Rogan slams CNN for ‘force-feeding me morons’ instead of covering news: ‘They think we’re at war’

AUSTIN, TEXAS: Comedians Joe Rogan and Tim Dillon took turns roasting CNN for its out-of-touch reporting, political leanings, and just not getting how the podcast world actually works. At one point, Rogan even blasted the network for "force-feeding me morons".
Dillon recently sat down for an interview with CNN. He recapped the whole sit-down on 'The Joe Rogan Experience', the New York Post reported.
Tim Dillon’s CNN Interview Went As Well As You’d Expect 😂

“Their whole thing now is that podcasters are the most powerful people in the world. She goes, do you think your friends are the new establishment? … Do I think Theo Von is the new establishment? No, I don't think so.” pic.twitter.com/Ah6KR2aDZn
Tim Dillon details CNN interview on Joe Rogan's podcast
Tim Dillon recounted to Joe Rogan, “So, I’m sitting there and [the CNN interviewer] sits down and she’s like, ‘Are there any left-wing comedians?’ And I named 10 of them that are all in arenas, because their whole thing now is podcasters are the most powerful people in the world.”
But the weird questions kept rolling.
Then she asked him, “Do you think your friends are the new establishment?” Dillon hit back, “I said, ‘Well, there are 22 intelligence agencies, an entire legacy media, there’s lots of Ivy League schools, there’s this, there’s that. Do I think Theo Von is the new establishment? No, I don’t think so.’"

He continued, “I think you ran a really unpopular candidate. I don’t think Americans like child sex changes, and I don’t think they want an open border, and I think if you co-opted some of those issues, you would have won," referring to 2024 Democratic presidential candidate, Kamala Harris.
Dillon said the CNN interview lasted an hour, and he didn’t want any selective editing. “They said to me at CNN, ‘We’re editing the interview.’ I said, ‘Put the hour out.’ I sat there for an hour, and we had a nice conversation. But you know we talked for one hour and I was like, ‘Put it out.’”
The host apparently tried to make it about Rogan. “She goes like this, ‘I can’t believe you’d show up. People said they can’t come on here because Joe Rogan would get mad at them.’”
Dillon just laughed it off saying, “I said, ‘That’s absolutely ridiculous.’ I said, ‘He doesn’t care. He would never care.’”
“That’s so silly,” Rogan said, adding, “They think we’re at war.”
Joe Rogan roasts CNN, asks network to 'just concentrates on news'
Joe Rogan made it clear he’s not some villain plotting against CNN. “I hope CNN corrects course and does real news, and just concentrates on the news,” he said.
“I don’t want editorial comments from morons. Right?” he said. “So when you’re force-feeding me Don Lemon’s opinion on how the world should be, and how everyone should be ashamed if they don’t get vaccinated – like you’re force-feeding me morons.”
The numbers don’t lie either. “Of course, your ratings plummeted,” Rogan said of legacy media. “Of course, and you guys lied about so many f**king things and never corrected yourselves," he added.
At one point, Dillon alleged that CNN is an arm of the Democratic Party.
Rogan responded, “Whether they are forced to be, or whether they choose to be because they identify with being Democrat, and they want to skew things completely toward the left, I don’t know, I don’t know what the answer to that is."
But Rogan isn’t out here rooting for CNN to crash and burn. In fact, he wants a comeback story.
“I want them to do well, I really don’t care. They obviously don’t want me to do well, but I don’t care,” he said. “If they turned it around and CNN became great, I’d watch it all the time. It used to be great, it used to have ‘Parts Unknown’ on it," he said.
