LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: In light of the shocking allegations against Sean "Diddy" Combs, country music star John Rich has decided to write a song about the music mogul.
The 50-year-old's inspiration behind the track also stems from his concerns about the spiritual warfare affecting the hearts, souls, and minds of American youth.
The allegations against Sean “Diddy” Combs are obviously disturbing..so disturbing that @johnrich wrote a song about him. John’s “why” gives me chills, and after watching this clip, I’m sure you’ll feel the same. #sagesteeleshow pic.twitter.com/Z1ilrJvy3W

John Rich's inspiration behind writing a song about Sean 'Diddy' Combs
During his appearance on a recent episode of 'The Sage Steele Show', John Rich discussed how a viral video featuring Sean "Diddy" Combs triggered him to pen the song.
The clip, which dates back to 2020, shows the Bad Boy Records founder accepting the Salute to Industry Icons Award at the Clive Davis and Recording Academy's Pre-Grammy Gala.
In his acceptance speech, Diddy declared, "We have the power. We decide what’s hot… we control what’s cool, we control what’s hot. We control what your kids listen to, what they dance to, we control what’s a video game, we control how they wear their pants, sag their pants … we control everything."

When Sage Steele read out some of the lyrics of his song, Rich reminded her that he was still working on it.
The lyrics read, "Evil runs around this town, undercover, looking for a soul to take/But they better stay away from the righteous hunter or hell is all they’ll pay / You ain’t got a clue what a daddy will do/Better give your soul to Jesus while I get my gun/Better give your soul to Jesus, while I get my gun…"
John Rich explains the lyrics of his song about Sean 'Diddy' Combs
When asked to clarify the meaning behind the lyrics, John Rich emphasized his fierce protection of his children, as per Whiskey Riff.
"Because if you come after my kids, I’ll kill ya. Try it… I would much rather spend the rest of my life in prison and my kids are ok. They have no understanding of the level of sincerity that regular everyday Americans have when it comes to their kids. I would much rather stand in front of a freight train than you ever lay a pinky on my kids," the 'Amazed' hitmaker said.
He added, "And these arrogant bastards going out there saying like Sean Combs said ‘We’ll take your soul, we own your kids, we determine what clothes they wear, we guide their lives’ with this crazy demonic look in his eyes."
"Standing on a microphone on a stage with bright lights and television cameras and he’s saying this to us? Ok, Sean Combs, why don’t you come on and try it one time? You only do your dirty work in the shadows, under the house," Rich continued.
He then launched a strong attack on Diddy, saying, "Because you’re a cowardly, evil, wicked, satanic, demonic, demon… and we have absolutely no fear of you, we have less than fear, we have nothing for you."
"Other than total annihilation of you and everything you stand for and everything you’re doing to the kids of the United States of America… that’s what that lyric is about," the country singer asserted.

"Jesus- please- let’s make the music industry GREAT again! Music has the ability of reaching the soul & moving us in ways words only cannot articulate so praying there’s room for a little bit of Jesus," said a person.
An individual praised the lyrics, writing, "I'm feeling it," while one simply described it as "powerful."
Another person who agreed with Rich stated, "Well said, John."
