LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: John Stamos paid an emotional tribute to his late friend and former co-star Bob Saget on what would have been the comedian’s 70th birthday. Saget was 65 when he died in January 2022.
The actor shared a series of memories on Instagram, including what he described as the “last pic” he ever took with Saget. The heartfelt post quickly drew reactions from fans and former ‘Full House’ cast members remembering the beloved comedian.

Taking to Instagram, Stamos posted a photo featuring himself and Saget alongside their wives, Caitlin McHugh and Kelly Rizzo. The group posed together during a sunset outing in front of the ocean.
Over the image, the ‘Big Shot’ actor wrote, “Last Pic.”
Stamos also uploaded a carousel of throwback photos and clips celebrating their longtime friendship. One slide included a video of Saget singing.
Reflecting on the memories, Stamos captioned the post, “We used to throw each other great birthday parties. Your 70th today would’ve been epic! I miss you and love you.”
The touching tribute resonated with fans who have continued to remember Saget since his death more than four years ago.

Stamos and Saget shared a decades-long friendship that began during their time on ‘Full House’, which aired from 1987 to 1995. The pair played Jesse Katsopolis and Danny Tanner on the hit sitcom.
They later reunited for Netflix’s reboot series ‘Fuller House’, which streamed from 2016 to 2020.
On the second anniversary of Saget’s death, Stamos reflected on the loss in another emotional tribute. At the time, he wrote, “I miss him. A lot. Every day. But I'm also grateful for the time we had, for the laughs, for the friendship. He was one of a kind, and I was lucky to call him my friend.”
