LANCASHIRE, ENGLAND: Justin Timberlake has once again found himself in the middle of a heated controversy as he was caught on camera lashing out at his employees.

The 44-year-old pop star spiraled into a head meltdown as he suffered an embarrassing sound cut in the middle of his set while performing at the Lytham Festival in St Annes, Lancashire, England, on July 5.

Justin Timberlake screams at his employees following a technical glitch

As per a new viral video, the ‘Friends with Benefits’ actor’s audio was cut off as he went on to perform ‘Cry Me A River’, a 2002 hit heavily inspired by his breakup with Britney Spears.

In another video, Timberlake appeared to lash out at his employees as they tried to calm him down following the technical glitch. Although his words were inaudible in the tense clip, his fury was clear as he gestured sharply toward a male crew member.

The ‘Can't Stop the Feeling!’ hitmaker made his frustration apparent with sharp, aggressive hand gestures before turning his back and storming away from the staffer.

Timberlake’s on-stage meltdown was his latest antic caught on camera. Earlier this year, the ‘Mirror’ singer faced backlash for acting in a threatening manner toward a group of young fans.

Last year, he even pleaded guilty to impaired driving, resolving the criminal case stemming from his June 2024 arrest in New York’s Hamptons.

Fans slam Justin Timberlake as he is caught lashing out at his employees

After the video of his meltdown went viral on the internet, Justin Timberlake faced fierce backlash from his fans.

One said, “Maybe if you treated your team with respect instead of throwing tantrums, your mic wouldn’t keep cutting out. The real technical issue is thinking he’s still relevant enough to act like a diva in 2025,”  and another mocked, “Somebody get him some 2% milk, his blood sugar is lower than a modern Jlo album on the Billboard 200.”

A person asked, “Is this ❄️ rage or just typical Mustin behaviour? 🤔 Unprofessional either way,” whereas someone else added. “He can do that because he's a man. We all know that if it were a woman, she would be on tiemzi, being called a freaked out.”

“He’s so canceled to me. And he can take his wife too! Over him!” a tweet read, with another saying, “Still thinks he’s hood and can do something.”

“You are not Michael Jackson dude even MJ treated his crew with respect,” one more said.

Justin Timberlake bashes fans who challenged him to race them

Earlier this year, Justin Timberlake found himself in hot water after a video emerged showing the star lambasting a car full of fans challenging him to "race them" while he was driving.

In the video, a group of excited fans drives alongside a car with dark-tinted windows, shouting, “That’s Justin Timberlake! Bro, roll down the window!”

As the cars stop at a red light, the singer rolls down his window and asks, "You want something?"

"Let's race, let's race," the fans challenge, to which the singer again replies, "You want something, you want something?"

Timberlake then finishes the chat saying, “Get out of here you f*****g kids.” Fans quickly took to social media to alternately claim the star had been "provoked" or that he had been "mean" to the driver and passengers.
