LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kamala Harris was mocked by critics who said she sounded like she’d been hitting the wine before weighing in on GOP redistricting efforts in Texas.

The former vice president sat down with young Latino leaders earlier this month to discuss the controversial maps drawn by Republican legislators. The video of the sit-down surfaced on social media this weekend.

“It’s going to take all of us to fight back against Republican redistricting efforts in Texas. I’m so proud of the Democrats in the state legislature. They have shown immense courage and are putting up one hell of a fight,” Harris said.

“When things don’t go the way Republicans want, they cheat and lie,” Harris added. “This is not a census year, but this is a year with the Big Beautiful Bill! And the unpopularity of it and so [the Republicans] want to bend the rules!”

She wrapped by praising the AWOL Texas Democrats before the video cut out.

Critics accuse Kamala Harris of being 'intoxicated'

The mockery came in swiftly as soon as the clip made waves on social media.

"She looks like an alcoholic who's trying to hide it," one posted on X.

"I find it difficult to conclude whether she is intoxicated, heavily medicated, neurologically impaired, very low IQ, or some combination of the four," a second user offered.

"She’s always like some high middle schooler regurgitating what she memorized for a civics quiz," another quipped.

"Can you imagine her in front of Putin and tomorrow in front of all the EU and Ukraine leaders!! What a joke !!" read a comment.

"Notice when she says some stupid shit that she thinks is profound… she smiles and gives a face as she delivers it...We dodged the death of America," someone else chimed in.

"Can you even begin to imagine the disaster that would’ve unfolded if this bimbo sock puppet idiot moron won the election?" another wondered.

Not the first time Kamala Harris has faced 'drunk' accusations

Kamala Harris has been accused before of appearing to be under the influence in public appearances.

Earlier this year, she served up one of her trademark “word salads” while attempting to inspire the cast of Broadway’s 'A Wonderful World: The Louis Armstrong Musical.'

Harris and former second gentleman Doug Emhoff had been spotted catching two Broadway shows in February, 'A Wonderful World' and later 'Gypsy.' After getting a standing ovation from the audience, she launched into a rambling speech to the cast.

“When we think about these moments where we see things that are being taken, but also let’s see it, you know, nature abhors a vacuum,” Harris said in a clip that quickly made the rounds online.

“Where there’s a vacancy, let’s fill it. Let us know that the reality is that the progress of our nation has been about the expansion of rights, not the restriction of rights.”

She continued, “We’re seeing a U-turn right now. For those rights to be maintained which means we have to be vigilant. It’s just the nature of it.”

Harris wrapped up with a flourish that left some scratching their heads. “We have to be clear-eyed. And it doesn’t mean we don’t see the beauty in everything. These things all co-exist, but I believe we fight for something, not against something," she said at the time.
