Kevin Costner's children unite to 'take care of him' after messy divorce from ex Christine Baumgartner
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kevin Costner's kids are constantly checking in with the actor after his messy divorce from ex-wife Christine Baumgartner, revealed an insider.
The 'Yellowstone' alum's ex-wife Baumgartner filed for divorce from Costner in May 2023, and the duo finalized the legal paperwork in February 2024, according to OK Magazine.

The source said, "His kids from both ex-wives get along great and they’re banding together to take care of him now, keeping his spirits up through the loneliness of the holidays and everything else he’s had to deal with."
Costner shares Annie, 40, Lily, 38, and Joe, 36, with his first ex-wife, Cindy Silva; son Liam, 28, with former partner Bridget Rooney and Cayden, 17, Hayes, 15, and Grace, 14, with Baumgartner.
The insider added, "Kevin tried to be the best dad he could during their childhoods. He’d have them on the set with him just to stay close, and they’re giving back to him right now."
The source also noted that Costner's seven children are "all well-adjusted", which is "a credit to Kevin", per the outlet.
The insider continued, "They’re what is keeping him going strong even as he faces more adversity."
A different source revealed that Costner is looking to improve his appearance now that he’s back on the market after taking a few blows to his confidence lately.
The insider said, "He may have given in to the occasional Botox and fillers", noting that he also keeps "himself fine-tuned through exercise, a healthy diet, and an odd assortment of beauty rituals."
The source added that Costner does swimming, surfing, goes hiking and horseback riding to stay fit. The source also said that Costner "indulges in the hot sauna" in an attempt to "reduce wrinkles and stiffness in the joints".
The insider further mentioned, "He’s got that randy look in his eye and obviously he’s enjoying singlehood. But he’s looking forward to a fresh start and hopefully meeting Ms Right in 2025, too."

A source close to Kevin Costner recently revealed to Radar Online that the 'Yellowstone' star has not taken his breakup with Jewel kindly and is pining after his ex, and is often left dialing her number at night with a "drink in hand".
According to reports, the 69-year-old actor's romance with the 50-year-old songstress went kaput a few months ago, but Costner is still fixated on winning her back.
A source close to the actor revealed that Costner is reportedly distraught after his breakup with the 'Down So Long' singer. He reportedly dated Jewel for a few months after his contentious divorce from Christine Baumgartner.
However, his split from Jewel has been tough on him, with the source saying, "He really had high hopes of settling down with her but nothing he does seems to work."
The insider also mentioned that his friends are not supporting his behavior, thinking "it's pathetic".
The source said, "But after he has a drink or two, he seems to think anything is possible. It doesn't happen every night, but often enough to be a bother."
The insider further mentioned, "He's not used to being rejected, and Jewel jilting him after his wife dumped him for his friend did a number on his ego."
Moreover, the source also said that the whole scenario has become more frustrating for Costner as he has never had to struggle to woo a lover.
