MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN: Kid Rock roused the lively audience at the Republican National Convention (RNC) on Thursday, leading them to chant "Fight! Fight! Fight!" in support of former president and 2024 Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.

During his performance of the 2000s hit ‘American Bad A**', the singer and rapper made some adjustments to the lyrics to align with the upcoming November election, prompting the audience to chant "Trump! Trump! Trump!" instead of the original "Hey! Hey! Hey!" The musician's performance was heavily panned on social media with users declaring that the singer was "past his prime."

Kid Rock also referenced key presidential election battlegrounds like Pennsylvania and Arizona, in place of the other locations mentioned in the original version of the song, according to Newsweek.

Before exiting the stage and introducing UFC president Dana White, Kid Rock energized the crowd, saying, "Ladies and gentlemen, get ready for the most patriotic, bad*** on earth, President Donald J Trump."

How close is Kid Rock to former president Donald Trump?

In an interview with Rolling Stone in May, Kid Rock referred to former President Donald Trump as one of his “besties.”

The right-wing musician reacted to the assassination attempt on the 78-year-old MAGA strongman at the Keystone State campaign rally over the weekend.

"You f**k with Trump, you f**k with me," he remarked in a shirtless Instagram selfie video.

Over the last ten years, Kid Rock has become increasingly divisive, immersing himself in all things Trump, appearing in interviews to predict the ex-POTUS's election victory, discuss "DEI crap," and everything MAGA.

Kid Rock, whose real name is Robert Richie, has begun to make his concerts resemble Trump rallies.

He has featured Donald Trump on a large screen, telling his audience, "This is your president now, so deal with it!" according to one of his colleagues.

Kid Rock has previously acknowledged that his public backing of former president Trump could turn out to be risky for him.

"When I doubled down on it, I knew that could be a career-ender," he stated in the Rolling Stone interview. "But I was betting that there were a lot of like-minded people out there."

Internet dubs Kid Rock 'Old Man Rock' after performing 'American Bad A**' at RNC

People online shredded the 53-year-old American musician and singer for singing 'American Bad A**' on the RNC stage.

One X user remarked, "Is that the best they could do? Kid Rock?? Hysterical!!"

Another user said, "Old Man Rock is 20 years past his prime."

Another user asked, "Kid Rock... didn't he use to be almost somebody in the late 20th century?"

One user claimed, "It's 2024, nobody cares what Kid Rock is doing."

Another X user quipped, "There will be more ears that need bandages after he is done."

Someone else tweeted, "Yeah, that will surely bring the youth vote to the ballot box."
