LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kim Kardashian left her fans stunned after she shared pictures of herself posing with Elon Musk’s $30,000 Tesla robot, Optimus, on November 18. It also led many to question if she received monetary compensation for making the post.

But now a representative of the socialite has claimed that the Tesla CEO did not pay her for the shoot, Daily Mail reported citing The New York Times.

Kim Kardashian's ties with the Trump family questioned

Kim Kardashian, however, was fined $1.26 million by the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in 2022 for failing to disclose that she had received $250,000 for promoting a cryptocurrency on her Instagram page.

Her spokesperson cleared the air on her Tesla robot post in the New York Times article titled, 'Is Kim Kardashian Trying to Tell Us Something?', which detailed the SKIMS founder's ties with President-elect Donald Trump and his family.

The two previously worked together to free Alice Marie Johnson who was serving a life sentence for a nonviolent drug conviction. Kardashian is also known to be friends with former first daughter Ivanka Trump. But whenever it came to take a side in politics, the mother-of-four has always presented herself as neutral.

In 2021, she claimed, as per The Hill, "I believe in the rights that the Democrats want, but I believe in the taxes that the Republicans want," before adding, "I’m a mix of both. I’m very neutral."

Kim Kardashian continues to get mocked for 'super uncomfortable' Tesla robot photoshoot

Kim Kardashian's controversial pictures from last week showed her donning a puffy black jacket, sheer, nude-toned tights with black stockings and a garter belt printed on them and posing with the Tesla robot.

In the first photo, she was seen seductively crouching down beside a Tesla Cybercab, with the robot sitting on the driver's seat. Another photo showed Kardashian sitting on the robot's lap.

Fans took to the comments section of her Instagram post to share their bewilderment over the photoshoot.

One wrote, "I’m wondering how much tesla and elon had to fork out to get Kim to do this 🤣🤣😂," and another said, "Sorry Kim, you’re not gonna normalise this weird behaviour for us we don’t want this!"

A person remarked, "What midlife crisis looks like 😂," while someone else added, "Real footage of how human dehumanise themselves!"

"Is this why you were so silent during the election?" questioned an individual, with another saying, "There’s something super uncomfortable about this."

"We don’t want this. Let’s not normalize this," declared one more. Another person wrote, "I seriously hate that these are our role models. Man kind is not headed in a good direction."
