HIDDEN HILLS, CALIFORNIA: Kim Kardashian’s journey to becoming a lawyer has hit another snag as the 'Keeping Up WIth The Kardashians' star pushes back yet another year to earn a law degree.

Despite her determination to follow in her late father Robert Kardashian Sr's footsteps, the reality star has reportedly postponed her plans to take the California bar exam until 2026—a full year later than her initial goal of February 2025.

Kim Kardashian's dreams on hold amid her debut in Hulu's new legal drama

“Kim had originally planned to take the California bar exam in February 2025, but she is pushing it back to 2026," the insider revealed, according to Perezhilton.

Alarmingly, the source claimed that Kardashian has only completed about 20% of the required coursework, making her dream of becoming a lawyer seem even further away.

This delay is particularly frustrating as it coincides with the upcoming premiere of her scripted Hulu legal drama 'All’s Fair' in which she plays a divorce attorney.

According to Variety, the Kardashian sister will star alongside cast that includes Glenn Close, Naomi Watts, Niecy Nash-Betts, Teyana Taylor, Matthew Noszka and Ed O'Neill

Kim Kardashian will 'no way in hell' give up on earning a law degree

Kim Kardashian had initially hoped to become a licensed lawyer before the series debuted, but that timeline now seems impossible.

According to the insider, her frustration with questions about her legal journey has grown over time.

“Kim hates any questions about her pursuit of her legal credentials. She gets mad when anyone brings it up," the insider explained.

"She says she’s a full-time working mom of four with a business empire, so of course it’s going to take a little longer. But she’s also determined to have the damn law degree to her name," the source added.

Despite these setbacks, the source maintained that Kardashian's determination to earn her law degree remains strong.

“She’s very stubborn on things like this, and there’s no way in hell she is going to have it be said that she didn’t get it,” the source revealed.

Insider reveals bar exam prep left Kim Kardashian ‘finished off’

Notably, fans of the 43-year-old SKIMS founder will remember the early hurdles in her legal journey.

After beginning her studies in 2019, Kardashian struggled to pass the California “baby bar” exam, failing it three times before finally succeeding in 2021.

Even in 2023, she expressed her desire to eventually leave reality TV behind to pursue her dream of becoming “an attorney full-time.”

According to an insider, Kardashian has paused her bar exam preparation entirely, finding the process overwhelming amid her many other responsibilities.

“Last year she slowly realized how tedious it was and how never-ending the study was,” the insider revealed.

“She can’t drop it without looking bad, looking like she couldn’t pass it after all the work and all of her talk about how passionate she was about pushing for prison reform. She really struggled with the study, hated having to do the outlines and essays required to even be at a competent level, and it was going to take her a few years of study to pass the exams and a few likely fails. She did some midterm exams last year and they finished her off,” the insider added.

The source cited her busy schedule which includes raising four children and managing her numerous business ventures, as contributing factors to the delay.
