Kim Kardashian reveals reward she got for walking Madonna’s dog as she shares childhood anecdote in docu
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kim Kardashian just revealed an interesting thing about her childhood. She used to take Madonna’s dog for walks, and in return, she got the Queen of Pop’s iconic jewelry.
The socialite made the revelation while appearing in the new Disney+ documentary, ‘In Vogue: The 90s’, as reported by Daily Mail.
Kim Kardashian flaunted Madonna’s bracelets in school
Kim Kardashian shared that she and Kourtney were around 8 and 10 years old when they lived next door to Madonna. And how did the pop legend reward them for walking her dog?
“One day I went down to walk Madonna's dog and she brought down a shoebox and gave it to me and Kourtney,” Kim shared.
“We opened the box and it was all neon rubbery bracelets, and she said - ‘here girls I am so over this phase’, and we went to school and we were wearing all this like neon stuff and everyone was like ‘oh my God, where did you get that?’”
“And we were like ‘Madonna gave it to me’ and they were like ‘yeah right’, and I am like ‘no seriously, Madonna gave it to me!’” she added.
‘In Vogue: The 90s’ will start streaming on September 13 on Disney+ and it also stars Kate Moss, Nicole Kidman, Stella McCartney, and Claire Danes.
As per IMDb, the docuseries will disclose “the definitive story of the fashion industry in the 90s through the eyes of Vogue editors, Hamish Bowles, Edward Enninful, Tonne Goodman and Anna Wintour".
Kim Kardashian becomes Madonna's neighbour again
Back in April, Kim Kardashian had disclosed during a candid chat on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' that even in her adulthood she ended up becoming Madonna's neighbor.
“We ran into each other actually trick-or-treating," she said while sharing another interesting anecdote.
"We both had masks on and were going to the same house and then we looked at each other and I was like, 'Madonna?’” Kardashian said, as per People.
Jimmy Kimmel then asked her, “What kind of masks did you and Madonna have on?”
The mother-of-four replied, “Just, like, black ski masks. We weren't in costume. It was just us hiding so that our kids could go trick-or-treating.”
"I would imagine this is, like, a celebrity neighborhood," Kimmel noted.
More about ‘In Vogue: The 90s’
‘In Vogue: The 90s’ features interviews with supermodel Naomi Campbell, actress Gwyneth Paltrow, and 'Sex and the City' star Sarah Jessica Parker.
It also includes a segment with designer Stella McCartney, who discusses the perks of being Paul McCartney's daughter.
Meanwhile, Kate Moss has also shared an experience in the documentary when she was slammed for allegedly promoting eating disorders.
“Parents would come up to me and say, ‘My daughter's anorexic’. It was awful. I think because I was just skinny, and people weren't used to seeing skinny,” she stated.
“But if I'd been more buxom, it wouldn't have been such a big deal. It's just that my body shape was different from the models before me,” the 50-year-old model added.
