King Charles showing no leniency to 'exhausted' Kate Middleton over royal duties amid her cancer battle
LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM: Kate Middleton might have announced her cancer is in remission, but she has been left completely “drained” and “exhausted” by the continuous struggle.
According to royal insiders, adding to her woes is the constant pressure faced by the gutsy royal to be perfect in her royal duties.
Recently, a palace source shared with RadarOnline that while the Princess of Wales has been left a "shell of her former self," there is no leniency for her duties from the Firm, as King Charles reportedly “has no patience for her struggles.”
King Charles is not being lenient with Kate Middleton
Both the 75-year-old King and his daughter-in-law struggled with cancer since the beginning of this year. While the future queen of England announced her cancer remission through an emotional post in September, the king is still undergoing his treatments.
However, as per sources, the current monarch is maintaining a “stiff upper lip” regarding his stance on Kate’s struggles.
According to the courtier, "William is deeply concerned about Kate, and he's gone to his father looking for support only to find Charles has no patience for her struggles since he's still dealing with his own.”
"His only answer is both William and Kate need to keep a stiff upper lip and serve as they are duty-bound to do,” added the source.
The source further added that Kate, who has been left emotionally and physically exhausted, is trying her best to make everyone happy.
"She's pushing herself to make everyone happy, particularly King Charles, but it's very clear that she's not back to normal,” noted the source.
They continued, "It's not in Kate's nature to complain, but you just have to look at her to see how drained she is."
Kate Middleton is left ‘exhausted’ with her cancer battle
Another palace source shared with the outlet, "Kate has been emotionally crippled by the vicious impact the cancer and its treatments have had on her.”
"She's mentally and physically exhausted and slogging through even the simplest of her duties,” explained the source, before adding, "Those around her have noticed she has lost her spark and enthusiasm."
The source spilled, "She's putting a lot of pressure on herself," while elaborating, "She feels like the family needs her to step up, but of course the worry is she's pushing herself way too hard."
The source further shared their concern over Kensington Palace’s announcement that the mother-of-three might attend the National Service of Remembrance this month and host her annual Christmas carol concert at Westminster Abbey in December.
"This should be a time for Kate to take it easy, but that doesn't seem to be allowed,” noted the source, and added, "A lot of people are worried her health could suffer in the long run. It's a shame they can't just let her rest!"
