Lena Dunham's stunning claims about ex Jack Antonoff in memoir before alleged Margaret Qualley split
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Lena Dunham made some shocking remarks about her former beau Jack Antonoff in her 2026 memoir months before his alleged split from his wife, Margaret Qualley.
She accused the music producer of spending a lot of time with an unnamed “teen pop star” in her book, ‘Famesick’, which was released in April. They had been romantically involved from 2012 until late 2017.

In her book, Dunham reportedly shared one incident when she was still with Antonoff.
She reportedly wrote that she once FaceTimed the Grammy-winning music producer, 42, while visiting her grandmother and found him in “the recording studio in our apartment, where he was ensconced with a teen pop star I was too oblivious to be jealous of.”
The 40-year-old actress-director also reportedly claimed in her memoir that Antonoff spent his time with the teen pop star, who even called her ‘Aunt Lena’ "when I hobbled into the kitchen with my walker to grab another bottle of green tea."

Mentioning another incident, Dunham reportedly stated in her book that once she returned home after a doctor’s appointment, she found the young woman "weeping into Jack’s lap" while he was consoling her and telling her that "your teens are for experimenting," as per Page Six.
As per the 'Girls' creator, Antonoff's comforting tone "almost brought tears to my eyes.”
“It had been so long since he’d spoken to me with that kind of expansive generosity,” she reportedly claimed in the book.

Meanwhile, several outlets reported on Wednesday, July 8, that Antonoff and Qualley, 31, had separated just months before their third wedding anniversary. They had tied the knot in August 2023.
A tipster spilled to Page Six that “Jack could be very particular about how he liked things. He’d often prefer for things to be done the way he thought was best, and Margaret didn’t always feel like her perspective was being heard or given the same weight. Communication was definitely a challenge between him and Margaret.”
