Liam Payne's close friends fear he's been 'spiraling' amid disturbing allegations by ex Maya Henry
MIAMI, FLORIDA: Former 'One Direction' member Liam Payne's inner circle has things to say about the singer's "concerning" behavior following his move to the US after ending things with ex-fiancee, Maya Henry.
Henry recently claimed in a TikTok video that the 31-year-old singer continues to blow up her phone despite their breakup two years ago.
Liam Payne's 'erratic' behavior has been concerning many in his inner circle for months
Liam Payne and Maya Henry's relationship has been in the public eye since 2018, when they were first linked, followed by their engagement in the summer of 2020. Although they briefly reconciled after a breakup in June 2021, the couple officially called it quits in 2022.
After their split, the singer reportedly relocated to Miami, Florida, where he now resides in a luxurious gated mansion complete with a private pool.
While the move may have been intended as a fresh start, sources close to the singer have expressed concerns about his well-being.
A source claimed, "Liam’s behaviour has been concerning many in his inner circle for months. For a while, things seemed to be looking up for him but over the past year there are fears he is spiralling," as per the US Sun.
They added, "He’s no longer around some of his old friends as he’s relocated to America to start a new life out there which means many of those who are around him are ‘yes men.’ Everyone wants the best for him but things are erratic to say the least."
Maya Henry accuses Liam Payne of obsessive behavior
According to Maya Henry, Liam Payne's attempts to reach her have also extended to her friends and family, with him allegedly using various phone numbers and iCloud accounts to stay in touch.
She recently took to TikTok to share her experience, telling her followers, "Y’all don’t even know what goes on behind closed doors."
"Ever since we broke up he messages me, he will blow up my phone. Not only from his phone number. It’s always from different phone numbers too so I don’t know where it will come from. He will create new iCloud accounts to message me, it’s always a damn new iCloud account," claimed Henry.
The content creator, whose video has garnered over two million views, also revealed that the communication doesn’t stop with her or stalking her online.
"He will email me. Not only me but he will blow up my mum’s phone. He’s also messaging my friends. He is the one that is constantly doing weird s***," continued Henry in the viral TikTok clip.
She admitted that she had hesitated to speak out about her experiences due to Payne's devoted fanbase, saying, "It’s hard when you have people jump down your throat for speaking the truth on, quite frankly, very disgusting things that have happened and disgusting things that he’s done... and he knows that too."
"He knows that he can get away with anything. He’s told me. He’s told me the fans will always have their back and they are always going to defend us. And he’s right.. that’s the thing. He’s not even wrong," expressed Henry.
