'Liar with microphone': MAGA 'prophet' Julie Green slammed for predicting 'overthrow' of government
DAVENPORT, IOWA: Julie Green, a self-proclaimed prophet and MAGA supporter, has predicted an 'overthrow and takeover' of the government, reports Newsweek.
In the latest 'prophesy' video, she said, "My children, the time has come. A time that you have been waiting for. A reinstatement. A shift of power. A new government in control. An overthrow and a takeover in this nation from the hands of the wicked to the hands of the righteous."
Ron Filipkowski, editor-in-chief of liberal news network MeidasTouch, brought attention to the video, sharing it on X with the caption "Green has received a New Year's message from God."

According to Newsweek, she is closely associated with Donald Trump's family, and the former president's son, Eric Trump, appeared on her show in September 2023.
Julie Green predicts a coup
Green, who is well known in right-wing circles, adding that the time was drawing near, prophesied that a "coup is about to be disrupted and annihilated and everyone a part of it exposed and removed."
"2024 will start out with a bang, so brace for a mighty impact coming to shake you loose from the chains that bind you," the self-proclaimed prophet continued.
The video clip ends with Green saying the happening would "look worse," but it means "enemies days are running out."
Green is infamous for making predictions through 'Julie Green Ministries International' streaming channels, claiming the messages were from God. A few of her controversial prophesies include the death of former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's death before the 2022 midterms, and Trump's legal cases would fall apart.
Contrary to her predictions, Trump is struggling with his legal cases and the 2024 presidential race despite leading the polls.
Two states, Colorado and Maine, have disqualified his candidacy in the primary ballot. Though he got reinstated in Colorado, a SCOTUS decision could only finalize the possibility.
Furthermore, special counsel Jack Smith's investigations into the former president's involvement on Jan 6 in an attempt to overturn the 2020 election results are moving forward. Recently, the special counsel urged the appeal court to reject Trump's immunity plea.

Priorities, man.
