Sanchez, who previously flew to space on a Blue Origin mission, revealed to Vogue that she honored wedding tradition with a twist. Her “something blue”? A memento from that cosmic flight.

“We don’t have a lot of traditions that we’re keeping,” Sanchez said. “I mean, I love traditions, but for a 55-year-old woman, it’s a little different.” She added that she did resist Bezos’s pleas to see her gown early: “But I want it to be a surprise.
