Reflecting on her marriage to her 67-year-old husband, Kudrow shared, "This is 2025, it'll be 30 years."
"By 30 years, it's not a romance. It's even more than a family member," Kudrow shared. The actress described it as the most “intimate relationship” one can experience, emphasizing that she has no intention of leaving him.
She added, "It's different from kids but by 30 years... I'm not going anywhere. No way. That's how I feel about it," indicating that her bond with Stern has evolved into something deeper and more enduring than traditional romantic love.
Kudrow rose to fame alongside Jennifer Aniston, Matt LeBlanc, David Schwimmer, Courteney Cox, and the late Matthew Perry, who died in October 2023 at 54 from the acute effects of ketamine.
Lisa Kudrow recalls finding hidden note from Matthew Perry in ‘Friends’ gift
Lisa Kudrow recently shared a deeply emotional moment involving her late 'Friends' co-star Matthew Perry during an appearance on 'The Drew Barrymore Show'. The 61-year-old actress revealed that she had recently found a heartfelt note from Perry tucked inside a prop he had gifted her at the end of the show's final episode in 2004.
Kudrow explained, “Matthew gave me the ‘Cookie Time’ jar at the end of our last episode. I had recently found the note he left inside of it. I hadn’t opened or looked inside it until now. Timing is everything.”
The Cookie Time jar held special meaning for Kudrow, as Perry had given it to her after a scene where she humorously mistook the jar for a working clock. Kudrow also recalled jokingly asking Perry if he had received permission to keep the prop, noting that the cast’s belongings were often inspected before they left the set.
"The first thing I asked was, 'This is so nice. Did you get permission?' I mean, my car used to get searched every night when I left," she explained.
In a heartfelt Instagram post in November 2023, she expressed her gratitude, saying, "Thank you for making me laugh so hard at something you said, that my muscles ached, and tears poured down my face EVERY DAY."

"Thank you for your open heart in a six-way relationship that required compromise. And a lot of 'talking'. Thank you for showing up at work when you weren't well and then, being completely brilliant," she wrote.
She added, "Thank you for the best 10 years a person gets to have. Thank you for trusting me. Thank you for all I learned about GRACE and LOVE through knowing you. Thank you for the time I got to have with you, Matthew."
