In 'The End of Obesity' episode, Cartman discovers semaglutide, a diabetes medication, can help him lose weight but quickly learns that he can't afford it because his insurance won't cover it.

The episode also features a fictional alternative "Lizzo," with a commercial claiming, "FDA-approved Lizzo makes you feel good about your weight, and it costs 90% less than Ozempic. … In case studies, 70% of patients on Lizzo no longer cared how much they weighed."

In a March interview with the New York Times, she explained, "I've been methodical, losing weight very slowly."

She admitted, "I don't really see it because if anyone who's on a natural weight-loss journey knows, losing weight is actually the slowest thing in the world and you don't really notice it until you notice it."

Lizzo has kept her followers updated with her transformation journey by sharing snaps of herself working out.
