MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA: A video showing a postal worker yelling at and giving the middle finger to immigration agents has drawn a wave of anger from supporters of President Donald Trump’s MAGA movement, as tensions surrounding federal immigration enforcement continue to escalate in the Twin Cities and beyond.

The video emerged during an enforcement operation in Minnesota. The exact date of the video remains unknown so far.

The short clip was shared by Collin Rugg, co-owner of the conservative news site Trending Politics, and quickly spread across social media platforms on Wednesday.

Viral footage sparks outrage

The viral footage shows a man driving by a group of agents who appear to be conducting an immigration stop. The man has been identified as a local postal worker.

As he passes, the driver shouts, “Go home, you f** losers” and thrusts his hand out the window flipping the bird at the agents.

MAGA-aligned users on the platform X were swift to condemn the behavior captured in the video.

“This is disgraceful,” wrote influencer Benny Johnson, criticizing the man’s actions and arguing that someone paid by taxpayers should not act in that way toward federal agents.

Political commentator Paul Szypula posted: “Well he just lost his job and benefits. So dumb,” reflecting the online sentiment that the worker’s conduct was irresponsible and deserving of consequences.

GOP speechwriter James Barcia took a different tack, suggesting in his post that the worker’s duties should be changed: “Replace everything he does with email.”

The postal worker at the center of the video has not been publicly identified, and there has been no immediate confirmation from the US Postal Service about disciplinary action or whether the individual was acting in an official capacity at the time.

Video part of wider tensions over immigration enforcement

This social media uproar comes amid an intense nationwide debate over immigration policy enforcement and the role of federal agencies such as the ICE and Border Patrol.

In Minneapolis, immigration agents have drawn heightened scrutiny and strong reactions from residents, lawmakers, and activists after a series of clashes during enforcement operations in recent weeks.

A surge of federal officers deployed to the area under a national immigration crackdown has sparked protests, legal challenges, and political pushback from local leaders.

The tensions were triggered in part by the fatal shooting of Renee Nicole Good, 37, during an ICE operation, which led to large demonstrations and accusations from some community members that federal agents were using overly aggressive tactics.

Those protests have occasionally turned confrontational, with demonstrators confronting agents and, in multiple instances, blocking their movement or verbally taunting them.
