WASHINGTON, DC: Jeanette Rubio, the wife of Secretary of State Marco Rubio, revealed that President Donald Trump’s style does not involve micromanagement and instead empowers members of his administration to do what they do best.

Several wives of senior Trump administration officials praised the president’s leadership style and the close-knit culture within the cabinet.

“I would say that he sees the president as an educator. He admires him, and one of the things I would say about the president is, he doesnt micro manage. He let every single person working in the administration do what they do best.”

Echoing Jeanette’s statement, Jennifer Hagseth, the wife of Pete Hagseth, said, “She took the words right out of my mouth.”

“Our husbands work closely together. I think that’s part of what you see, there’s no micro managing.”

“He sets an agenda, and he empowers everybody to do what they’re supposed to do. And I think they appreciate that so much, because if they couldn't do that, nothing would get done.”

Cabinet spouses praise Trump’s leadership

Cheryl Hines, the wife of Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F Kennedy Jr, was one of eight Cabinet spouses who sat down with co-host Rachel Campos-Duffy, who is married to Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy, to discuss their experiences adjusting to life in the administration.

"It feels like we’re all one big team, led by this really incredible leader who has a lot of courage and makes very quick decisions," said Kathryn Burgum, the wife of Interior Secretary Doug Burgum.

Burgum said the pace of the Trump administration has been faster than anything she has seen in government, including her time as first lady of North Dakota. She described the atmosphere as "entrepreneurial" and "patriotic."

Personal stories show close-knit culture inside Trump’s Cabinet

Allison Lutnick, the wife of Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, said she learned her husband was being considered for a Cabinet position when she saw his face on television.

"My biggest surprise initially was learning Howard was even going into the Cabinet," she said.
