LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Megan Fox's friends voiced concern about her relationship with Machine Gun Kelly after the actress announced they're expecting a rainbow baby via an Instagram post on Monday, November 11, as per Showbiz Cheatsheet.

The couple, who sparked romance in 2020 after meeting on the set of 'Midnight in the Switchgrass', had previously suffered a miscarriage in 2023.

Fox and Kelly had long wanted to expand their family, with a source telling Entertainment Tonight back in 2022, "Megan and MGK are pretty much done wedding planning... They are so excited to spend the rest of their lives together, traveling the world, living in complete bliss and harmony, and potentially expanding their family one day."

While their near ones are excited for them, they also have a cause for concern due to their turbulent past.

The 'intense' relationship between Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly

The dynamics between Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly are unlike other celebrity couples, as they have discussed drinking each other's blood and taking psychedelics on a date.

They also have had public fallouts in the past. However, they have made it clear that they love each other and want to make the relationship work. With a baby on the way, the stakes for them are higher than ever.

In July, an insider revealed to Life & Style that the rapper had "calmed down and cut way back in his partying and drinking" to help rekindle his romance with Fox. They added, "He’s also stopped acting so jealous and controlling, which was the biggest issue."

They had tried to live separately for a while, but supposedly "realized they missed and loved each other way too much to go their separate ways, so they sat down and worked it out, and now they’re very much back on and totally back in love."

While close friends of the actress are supportive of her relationship, the source states that "there’s definitely some skepticism when it comes to how long MGK will be able to keep this up."

"He’s a very intense guy, and he still has a lot of bad influences in his life, so the worry is that once he’s comfortable again and confident Megan’s not going anywhere, he’ll slide back into his old ways, and she’ll be right back in the same painful spot she was in before," noted the tipster.

During her appearance on Alex Cooper's 'Call Her Daddy' in March, Fox addressed speculations surrounding their engagement.

When Cooper said, "(You both) got engaged, then I think it was called off," Fox confirmed, "All those things you said were accurate things that have occurred."

She further remarked, "I think that what I've learned from being in this relationship is that it's not for public consumption, so I think, as of now, I don't have a comment on the status of the relationship, per se. What I can say is, that is what I refer to as being my 'twin soul,' and there will always be a tether to him no matter what," as per USA Today

Fox and Kelly made headlines with their 2022 engagement, as they apparently drank each other's blood to confirm their lifelong commitment.

Megan Fox helped Machine Gun Kelly get off drugs

Machine Gun Kelly shared on a podcast in August that he went to rehab in secret and has been since "completely sober from everything."

The 34-year-old said, "Megan has been extremely helpful in dealing with the kind of psychological withdrawals that come with getting off drugs."

Fox would not have stayed with Kelly if he had not got sober, a source told InTouch Weekly at the time.

They disclosed, "She wasn’t going to stay with him, not after the way he was acting, destroying guitars, smashing glasses on his head, and raging at anyone who got in his way. He was headed for disaster until he made up his mind to change."
