Meghan Markle hailed after handwritten note to flight crew goes viral: 'Always showing up with kindness’

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Meghan Markle’s sweet handwritten note to an American Airlines crew member has gone viral after the latter posted about it on TikTok.

On Thursday, May 22, flight attendant Nina Vida took to the social media platform to share a video, where she said, as reported by People, “You guys will not believe who I had on my flight, who I had the pleasure of serving. The queen, the princess, the Duchess of Sussex.”

She added, “The Meghan Markle was on my flight, and she's so beautiful in person. So sweet.”

Nina Vida then went on to mention that the airline staff had sent a note to Meghan Markle, saying, “It's a pleasure serving you! Love you real bad.”

She also revealed the response of the mother of two, who wrote in a sweet note, “Dear AA girlies, thank you for the love, hospitality and handwritten note — you know me well. All love right back to you.”

Meghan had signed the note as “As ever, Meghan.”

In the TikTok video, Nina Vida also disclosed that she received a compliment from the former actress for her manicure.

“She also said she loved my nails, and the captain on my last flight said they were intense. So, sir, it doesn't matter what you think. The queen says she likes them,” she mentioned.

Vida captioned her post, “No picture, but I love a handwritten note.”

Internet calls Meghan Markle a 'wonderful human being' as sweet note to cabin crew goes viral

Netizens had mixed reaction to the whole interaction. While some thought Meghan Markle wrote the note as she wanted media attention, others praised her for her kindness.

A Facebook user said, “Megsie you sad little thing. you will do anything for media attention!” and another wrote, “Does this woman not see that she is making an absolute fool of herself in order to get noticed? Just an absolute moron! She needs some pills!”

A person remarked, “LOW LIFE MEGHAN MARKLE,” whereas an individual wrote below the People article, “Another day, another story about this nobody.”

But a fan of Meghan said, “I think she is a beautiful person. Of course I have never met her, but all of her haters haven't met her either.” A second fan shared, “Meghan always showing up with kindness. She really is a wonderful human being.”
