LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM: Every big feud needs at least one major condition to come around, and this is no exception in the case of the grand British royal feud.

It has recently been reported that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle - who recently concluded their successful Colombia trip - are eyeing a return to the UK, after initially leaving British soil in 2020 to settle down in California in the United States.

However, royal scholar Tom Quinn has recently claimed to The Mirror that the Duchess of Sussex has put forward one “major condition” in order to relocate to her husband’s native country.

Meghan Markle sets a condition for their return to UK

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle left the Windsor land for the shores of America in 2020 and have seldom visited England ever since.

While King Charles’ younger son has made a handful of visits, Meghan last visited England in 2022 during Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral.

But of late, it has been rumored that the self-exiled couple is now considering relocation to the UK. But royal author Tom Quinn revealed that it will happen only if they can manage a home of their own with proper security.

"Meghan has said she’s only prepared to return to England if she and Harry have a place of their own and the security they both feel is essential,” shared Quinn while talking to The Mirror.

He added emphatically, “Meghan will never return to the UK and stay with her husband's relatives.”

The author added, "If the couple manage to find a permanent home and sort out the security issue they will certainly want to bring their children to the UK but it’s going to take a lot of diplomacy to get to the point where Archie and Lili are able to develop a genuine and warm relationship with their cousins George, Charlotte and Louis."

Quinn’s words came after it was revealed that the Sussexes lost their home - Frogmore Cottage - in England in June.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have to ‘apologize’ first

While security is a major concern for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle with the issue being one of the major conditions put forward by the ‘Suits’ actress to her husband, there is a condition from the royal family as well.

A royal insider recently revealed, per OK! Magazine, "The simplest way to get the protection he wants is to become a working member of the royal family again.”

They added, "Charles and William may be open to reconciliation, if for no other reason than to have two more people for official duties, especially in places no one else wants to go.”

However, there is a major condition for everything to fall into place, and that is, the wayward Duke and the Duchess have to apologize.

“But Harry and Meghan are definitely going to have to apologize. This rift won’t heal overnight. And at this point, they need the royals more than the royals need them,” said the source.
