LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Meghan Markle is already envisioning a future where she might share a business venture with her daughter Lilibet.

The Duchess of Sussex raised the possibility during her conversation with Tina Knowles, Beyonce’s mother, on her podcast 'Confessions of a Female Founder.'

Tina Knowles shares family-first advice on business with Beyonce

The former actress asked Tina Knowles about her experience working with her daughter Beyonce, especially on their hair care brand, Cecred.

While talking about a potential future business with Lilibet, Markle said, “I mean, I wonder if one day I’ll be in business with Lili and we’ll be building something...”

She then asked Knowles, “What advice do you have for people really digging into business together in that way, especially as mother and daughter?”

Knowles, a beautician who ran a Houston salon during Beyonce’s childhood, gave a heartfelt answer about family dynamics in business.

“There are difficulties sometimes because when you’re dealing with your child or they’re dealing with their mother,” she said.

She added, “You have disagreements and you have to—I’m the one to always cave. I’ve been like that since I was young. If my kids are mad at me, I can’t take it.”

“So, I’ll cave, I’ll apologize. Not that they ran over me because they were really good kids, but even as adults, if we have a disagreement or whatever, I’m the one to call because I don’t want to waste that time, and I don’t ever want to not be close to my kids. It’s just my priority,” Knowles said as per ELLE.

Tina Knowles says 'I’m helping' Beyonce for 'I want her to be okay’

Discussing her work with Beyonce on Cecred, Knowles explained her supportive role.

“We have disagreements about things, but it’s her business,” she said.

“I’m helping with the business because I just want to leave this earth knowing that she is, other than entertainment, is going to be okay. That’s a big part of it for me. But overall, we get along really, really well,” Knowles added.

Although Markle didn’t name a specific venture she hopes to launch with her daughter, her reference is likely to her new lifestyle brand, As Ever, which debuted in March.

Speaking about As Ever, Markle said, “For me at the moment with As Ever, it was… great. We plan, we planned for a year, and then everything sells out in 45 minutes — which yes, amazing. Great news.”

Knowles responded, “But then what do you do then?” to which Markle replied, “And then you say, ‘OK, we planned as best as we could.’”

“Are we going to replenish and sell out again in an hour? Or is that annoying as a customer?” Markle continued.

“I’m looking at it saying, ‘Just pause. That happened. Let’s wait until we are completely stable and we have everything we need,’” she added.

Markle also spoke on how the initial demand affected her thinking.

“That scarcity mentality at the beginning might be a hook for people, not dissimilar to a sneaker drop,” she said.

“But when you’re talking about products… I don’t want you to eat that jam once every six months. I want it that to be on your shelf all the time,” she noted.

She closed by hinting at the emotional toll of the venture.

“They see all the flashy stuff and they see the product. But that endgame, those behind-the-scenes moments, how many tears I’ve shed,”  Markle said as per New York Post.
