WELLINGTON, FLORIDA: Royal fans have once again dissected footage from Meghan Markle’s controversial appearance at Prince Harry's Sentebale charity polo match.

They are convinced that the Duchess of Sussex deliberately ignored Sentebale’s chair, Dr Sophie Chandauka, Daily Mail revealed.

Meghan Markle's awkward 'mean girl' trophy stage moment

The video, widely circulated online, shows Meghan reaching for her friend Delfina Blaquier’s hand as they walked away together while allegedly blanking Chandauka.

A user on X (formerly Twitter), @RVealingthenarc, described the moment as, “Mean Girl behavior on full display."

The post further read, "Meghan Markle tightly grabs Delfina’s hand and completely ignores Dr. Sophie walking up to take the next photo. This is before the infamous “stand over there” trophy moment. If you were ever bullied in school, you recognize this move instantly. Cling to one woman to freeze out another."

The incident in question took place at the Royal Salute Polo Challenge in Wellington, Florida, where Meghan seemingly forced Chandauka to move aside so she could stand next to Prince Harry during the trophy presentation.

Viral video sparks Meghan Markle's 'regressive behavior'

The video quickly went viral, garnering over 500,000 views and fueling speculation that Meghan intentionally sidelined Chandauka.

One fan shared, "I feel awful for Dr Sophie."

Another wrote, "Meghan is about to get her comeuppance. She thinks she can treat people actually more influential than she will ever be, and get away with it. Marrying a prince doesn't give you class. You either have it or you don't. You can't even fake it."

A different viewer pointed out, "It is absolutely disgusting to watch that!!! She is a bully and nasty!!! Stand by Dr Sophie C!!!"

A follower commented, "14 years old, regressive behavior."

One opinion stated, "She thinks she is an elite. Defina is rich and white and Dr Sophie is highly educated, may be from a family that may or may not be rich, and black. Meghan might feel intimidated by smart people."

Another individual observed, "Holding hands like that, snottily walking past with her nose in the air ignoring Dr Sophie. Speaks volumes. It’s the Markle we know the behaviour we are all so aware of. She’s dragging Nachos wife in this bullying behaviour I would guess without her knowledge."

As someone explained, "Horrible way to behave. I can't believe how people always stick up for her mean behaviour. It's a disgraceful way to act."

Meghan Markle's surprise appearance at Royal Salute Polo Challenge

The trophy presentation wasn’t the only controversy that day.

Chandauka recently revealed in an explosive interview with Sky News that Markle's appearance was completely unexpected.

“We would have been really excited had we known ahead of time [Meghan was coming], but we didn’t,” she told Trevor Phillips.

“The choreography went badly on stage because we had too many people. The international press captured this, and there was a lot of talk about the Duchess and whether she should have been there and her treatment of me.”

She also claimed that Prince Harry personally asked her to issue a statement defending Meghan, which she refused, saying: “Not because I didn’t care about the Duchess, but because we cannot be an extension of the Sussexes.”

Chandauka’s comments have reignited scrutiny over Markle's and Harry’s influence within Sentebale.

She accused the Duke of Sussex of turning the charity into “an extension of the Sussex PR machine” and alleged that he engaged in “harassment and bullying at scale," claims that have been denied.

The situation escalated further as Chandauka faced backlash from within Sentebale. Trustees, including Prince Harry, resigned en masse, reportedly demanding her resignation as well.

However, Chandauka has reportedly refused to step down, despite mounting tensions.
