Meghan Markle shares rare picture of son Archie on sixth birthday as she wishes him with heartfelt post

MONTECITO, CALIFORNIA: Meghan Markle shared a rare picture of her eldest son, Prince Archie, on the social media platform to celebrate his sixth birthday on Tuesday, May 6, reported The Sun.
The heartfelt post comes as the Duchess of Sussex celebrates Archie's birthday at their home in Montecito, California, in the absence of his father, Prince Harry, who is in Las Vegas, Nevada, to attend the launch of a new initiative.

Along with the birthday boy, Meghan and Harry also share a daughter, Lilibet, who will turn 4 on June 4 this year.

Taking to the social media platform, the 43-year-old Duchess of Sussex uploaded a picture of Archie standing on what appears to be the balcony of his home and looking at the sunset over the ocean. He is wearing striped pajamas while gazing at the sea, with the sun making a halo-like effect around his head.
"Our son. Our sun," the 'Suits' actress wrote in the caption accompanying the photograph. "Happy 6th birthday to Archie! Thank you for all of the love, prayers, and warm wishes for our sweet boy. He’s six! Where did the time go?"
She further added in parentheses, "And for all of you who came to celebrate with us at his party last weekend, thank you for making his birthday so incredibly special."

The birthday wish comes days after Meghan shared three adorable pictures of both Archie and Lilibet on Instagram. She appears alongside them in one of the snaps, which captures them in a rose garden on a sunny day. The caption to the post reads, "Sunday kind of love….with my little loves."
Markle also shared a black and white image of Harry with his two children strolling outdoors sans a caption over the weekend.

Prince Harry will miss Archie's birthday celebration
According to The Sun, the Duke of Sussex, 40, is in Vegas on the day of Archie's birthday to launch his Pledge to Invest scheme that was created in collaboration with the Diana Award.
The new scheme is designed as an "opportunity for forward-thinking businesses to make a strategic, measurable and high-impact investment in the future of youth leadership."

The Diana Award is set up in memory of his and Prince William's mother, Princess Diana, and recognizes young people working to improve the lives of others. During his stay in Nevada, Harry will be meeting the two recipients of the award this year.
