LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Meghan Markle’s upcoming cooking and lifestyle series, ‘With Love, Meghan’, has faced another criticism before its March release.

The Netflix show was earlier reportedly slammed for being “tone-deaf” and “out of touch” following the release of its teaser and now The New York Post has reported that despite its claim that it's an “at home” show, the shooting happened at an $8 million farmhouse.

The shooting location surprisingly is not Meghan’s $14.65 million Montecito mansion but it belongs to local philanthropists Tom and Sherrie Cipolla, which has brought skepticism.

Meghan Markle reportedly chose farmhouse to present ‘average rustic-look vibe’

The publication reported that the former actress’ series claims the audience to give a casual “at home with Meghan” vibe but the choice of location and the high-end cookware and luxury finishes present another story.

As per a mole, the Duchess of Sussex decided to go for the farmhouse instead of her luxurious house believing it would help bring an “average rustic-look vibe” but her choice has seemingly created the opposite effect.

The four bedroom farmhouse, situated on 5 acres, comes with 4.5 bathrooms and a 4,500-square-foot interior with an open floor plan and chic design.

The mansion’s centerpiece is reportedly its kitchen and its Caesarstone countertops are alone believed to be worth thousands of dollars.

The show also puts on display a Thermador range worth $19,000 and $80 chopping boards.

In the trailer, Meghan can be heard saying, “I’ve always loved taking something pretty ordinary and elevating it.”

But the decision to film the show at Cipolla farmhouse has been seen “as a growing disconnect between Meghan’s brand and her audience,” as per The Post.

Also, the tipster added, “If this [Netflix series] was filmed at her own mansion, at least it would have come off more authentic.”

Meghan McCain blasted Meghan Markle for her show

This came after Meghan was called out by Meghan McCain for her new show.

She wrote on X, “I was originally a Meghan Markle supporter, I thought she was cool, stylish and refreshing. Like the rest of the world my opinion changed when she disrespected the royal family. Now that she wants to be American again instead of British aristocracy, what she seems to forget is Americans want real, raw, uncensored.”

The daughter of the late Arizona senator John McCain also asserted that the former senior royal’s project “is highly curated, produced and out of touch.”

“There have been 2 terror attacks in 2 days, major wars raging and Americans can’t pay for groceries. We are a country in rage, uncertainty and intensity right now. This concept is ill advised. I would have told her to do a show helping bring fresh food to food deserts in low income neighborhoods. Do something to help people instead of your ego,” McCain added.
