Meghan Trainor reveals she and husband Daryl Sabara are both taking Mounjaro for weight loss

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Meghan Trainor has revealed that she and her husband, Daryl Sabara, have both been taking Mounjaro for weight loss.
The mother of two made the revelation on the Thursday, April 10 episode of their 'Workin' On It' podcast, as reported by People.
Meghan Trainor chose Mounjaro as it has 'less side effects'
During the podcast, Daryl Sabara shared, "We did 75 Hard after [our son] Riley was born and, man, did we crush."
"Then, we heard more and more of our friends — and even our doctors — were on Mounjaro and Ozempic," Trainor added.

The singer also shared that she decided to be on Mounjaro, a medication used for type 2 diabetes as well as weight loss, after she found out that it "had less side effects" than any other drugs.
"So, I did it, too," the 'Spy Kids' actor said, to which the 'All About That Bass' hitmaker added, "Daryl and I both do everything together."
Meghan Trainor insists on exercise and eating right
Meghan Trainor, however, also mentioned that exercise is equally important for weight loss.
She shared, "We were like, 'We have to make sure we don’t lose muscle that we worked so hard gaining all those years.' We stay in the gym, we work out, we eat right, and we just noticed that we were less hungry."

"We've been on this journey for a while, and we learned how there are right ways to do it and there are improper ways to do it," Sabara added.
Meghan Trainor recalls trolls calling her 'Ozempi Ozempi'
Elsewhere during the podcast, Meghan Trainor expressed her sadness and frustration over people’s comments and criticism of her body.
She shared, "Everyone just wants to talk about my body and we’re not here about my body. I’m here about my music."

"I’m reading these comments and I go, 'Oh my God, these are all bad.' There was not one nice comment. Like, the meanest things I’ve ever been told. I looked up and I just started sobbing," the 31-year-old disclosed, referring to trolling she faced after doing an interview about her being honored at the 2025 Billboard Women in Music Awards in March.
Trainor added, "Later, I was so frustrated. Everyone’s calling me 'Ozempi Ozempi' so I’m just going to explain my journey with my health in an Instagram post and I’m never going to talk to them about it ever again on my social media," before asserting, "Everyone, leave me alone or stop talking about my body."
