Megyn Kelly slams Blake Lively’s Time100 honor
The political commentator further criticized the actress for her alleged role in a MeToo accusation against her co-star, Justin Baldoni, calling the move “a scandal”.
“She’s lived to regret doing it because virtually every allegation she has made has fallen apart,” Kelly said, adding, “and so for her to be honored for doing that, to try to ruin a man over absolutely nothing, is a scandal,” she told the Daily Mail.

She argued that Lively’s inclusion on the list was more about celebrity appeal than actual influence, saying, “Obviously, Time is looking for big stars to come here and generate pages on their magazines, but that was very wrong.”

While Lively’s Time100 recognition praised her as a philanthropist and advocate for important social causes, the actress has faced backlash from some quarters due to her ongoing legal issues. Her legal battle with Baldoni, related to accusations of a MeToo allegation, has sparked debate, especially with the trial set for March 2026.

Despite the controversy, Lively was celebrated for her charitable work, including her contributions to the NAACP Legal Defense Fund alongside her husband, Ryan Reynolds. However, her selection for the prestigious list has raised questions about her qualifications for such an honor, especially given the ongoing public debate surrounding her legal matters.
Kelly joked about the possibility of taking a selfie with Lively and Meghan Markle from afar, since they’ve given her “so many hours of content” for 'The Megyn Kelly Show'.
"I have a feeling Lively is going to be avoiding me," Kelly joked, saying, “I won’t be avoiding anybody. I’m good.”

The 'Gossip Girl' star made a stunning entrance on the red carpet at the Time100 gala, rocking an off-the-shoulder Zuhair Murad gown. She was joined by her husband, Ryan Reynolds, who spoke at the Time100 Summit the day before, and her mom, Elaine.
