LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Megyn Kelly, the popular host of 'The Megyn Kelly Show', has ignited a heated online debate with her recent comments on women balancing careers and family. Known for her top-charting podcast, Kelly argued that modern women should be able to juggle both roles successfully. 

However, her remarks quickly drew backlash, with critics slamming the mother of three for offering "horrible" and "unrealistic" advice. The controversy has sparked a flurry of reactions across social media, as people debate the feasibility of her perspective.

On Monday, February 18, Megyn Kelly shared a post on X addressing women, offering advice on balancing career and family. The post began with, "Ladies, it is possible to make your own money, have your own career, pay for your own swanky nyc apartment (etc)." 

Kelly encouraged women to "find a man who loves you, wants to have & raise kids w/you & wants to be w/you and only you." 

She concluded with, "The only thing stopping you? Your decision to settle for less."

In response to Kelly's post, a user identifying as political scientist Jeanna Hoch commented, "Not wanting to be a boss babe is not settling for less. My kids were raised by me, not a nanny or daycare. It's ok to find a man who wants to provide for his family."

Kelly quickly replied, "No one suggested otherwise. Try to keep up."

For some background, Megyn Kelly left Fox News in 2017 after more than a decade with the network. She then had a brief stint hosting a daytime show at NBC News before launching her podcast.

Megyn Kelly stirs controversy online after sharing advice for women
