In response to Kelly's post, a user identifying as political scientist Jeanna Hoch commented, "Not wanting to be a boss babe is not settling for less. My kids were raised by me, not a nanny or daycare. It's ok to find a man who wants to provide for his family."

For some background, Megyn Kelly left Fox News in 2017 after more than a decade with the network. She then had a brief stint hosting a daytime show at NBC News before launching her podcast.

Megyn Kelly stirs controversy online after sharing advice for women

After Megyn Kelly shared her advice on balancing career and family on X, the post quickly gained nearly 4 million views in just one day. A wave of comments followed, with numerous internet users weighing in on her controversial perspective.

One user wrote, "Horrible advice. Stop peddling feminism."

A second user shared a GIF featuring Donald Trump deeming it "wrong."

Another user questioned, "Where does the time in the day exist for all of this? Children require a lot of time from parents. Honestly, even for men, the kind of life you mention is not compatible with a truly high-achieving career."

A commenter shared, "Megyn Kelly is exceptional in many ways, and that's great for her, but this statement from her is blind to reality. We need to honor stay-at-home moms who aren't celebrities, quietly working to make a home and raise good kids."

A netizen slammed, "In real life it is impossible. We can write what ever online, it doesn't work in real life. Also men, never be the one she is "settling" for. It doesn't work either. Divorce in couple of years."

A person dubbed, "Impossible."
