Melania Trump's finances revealed: Huge earnings from GOP fundraiser and NFT sales

PALM EACH, FLORIDA: Former first lady Melania Trump is earning millions from her speaking engagements, NFT trade, and properties in New York and Slovenia, Daily Mail reported.

Melania was paid six figures for speaking to a Republican fundraiser earlier this year, which is part of the million dollars in income she earns. Former president Donald Trump's newly-released financial disclosure report, required for his presidential candidacy, included details of his income from fundraiser events and investments that divulged details of his financially well-off third wife's substantial income.

How much did Melania Trump earn from her various sources of income?

The 54-year-old collected $237,000 for her speaking engagement at the Log Cabin Republicans in April 2024. The same month, she held a $10,000-per-ticket fundraiser at Mar-a-Lago for the conservative LGBTQ group. The total donations to the event accounted for $5 million, which was divided between the GOP presidential nominee's campaign and the Republican Party.

Melania had held another fundraiser in July at her husband's apartment in Trump Tower in New York for the Log Cabin Republicans.

Among the revenue listed included $330,607 income from the Designer's Manager licensing agreement for the trade of NFTs. The NFT site was launched after she departed from the White House in January 2021.

The collections, priced at $150 each, feature digital images of the former FLOTUS' likeness. Her newly established company, MKT World LLC, manages her speaking engagements and NFT trade.

In addition, Melania is the owner of a major real estate portfolio located in New York and Slovenia. Her income from real estate properties in NY accounts for between  $500,001 and $1,000,000; meanwhile, she earns between $15,001 and $50,000 in rental income from residential properties she owns in Ljubljana, Slovenia. The document also disclosed that she has $ 250,000 in savings accounts.

Melania Trump, who was a constant presence alongside her husband during the 2016 and 2020 presidential campaigns, stayed away from the campaign trail in the ongoing race.

Ending her month-long absence from the public, she accompanied Donald on the last day of the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee in July. However, she refrained from addressing the delegates, breaking the tradition of presidential spouses speaking at the convention.

She remained among the audience, listening to her husband receiving the GOP nomination for the third time in a row.

With less than three months left for Election Day on November 5, the 45th president seeking his second White House term is facing a neck to neck-competition from his newly elected Democratic rival, Vice President Kamala Harris, in swing states.

The former first lady's memoir 'Melania' will hit the stores in September 2024, containing "personal stories and family photos she has never before shared with the public."

The memoir published by Skyhorse Publishing would have two editions, a full-color 256-page-long collectors edition priced at $150 and a $40 edition with 304 pages.
