Michael Moore predicts Election Day will mark Donald Trump's 'last' political appearance
WASHINGTON, DC: Left-wing filmmaker Michael Moore is making a bold prediction about the upcoming election, stating that Vice President Kamala Harris will not only win but will "win and win big."
Moore, known for his outspoken political views, believes that Tuesday, November 5 results will mark the end of former president Donald Trump's political presence.
He even suggests that Trump will be "blown away" by the overwhelming crowd numbers voting in Harris' favor, "meaning is the last that we will see him," he said.
Michael Moore cites an analysis of Donald Trump's possible loss
Michael Moore shared his thoughts in a blog post on his website, expressing confidence in Kamala Harris' victory while acknowledging the possibility of being wrong, saying, "Yes, I’m feeling that good. And yes, I could be horribly wrong."
Moore also referenced political scientist Rachel Bitecofer in support of his analysis, calling her "the only pollster I respect."
According to Moore, Bitecofer supported his previous predictions on election outcomes, including Trump's 2016 win against Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden's 2020 victory over Trump.
Moore described her insights as her "very educated gut feeling about how happy we may end up feeling by the end of this week."
Bitecofer in her analysis stated that the "data is overwhelmingly positive for Harris."
Michael Moore 'absolutely' believes Donald Trump is 'toast' in this election
In addition to his blog post, Michael Moore reiterated his confidence in Donald Trump's defeat during an appearance on MSNBC.
The 'Fahrenheit 9/11' director stated, “I think that they are going to be very surprised — I’m talking about the Trump people and the MAGA nation — by what’s going to happen on Tuesday."
Last month, Moore wrote that "Trump is toast," and just two days before the election, he expressed the same sentiment.
“I feel the same way that I felt a few weeks ago — that Trump is toast. Absolutely, I feel it more now," Moore said, The Hill reported.
Michael Moore expresses optimism for Kamala Harris' win
Despite his confidence, Michael Moore acknowledged that the election work wasn't finished yet.
“I don’t want to say it too loudly, because our work isn’t done, right?” he said.
"We all have doors to knock on tomorrow. We all have to make sure we get people to vote,” Moore added.
“But having said that, I’m very optimistic and hopeful,” he expressed his optimism.
Moore said, “Honestly, I have a lot of personal, deep faith in my fellow Americans.”
He criticized the Trump campaign for being out of touch with the majority of Americans.
“The majority of Americans do not want this divisiveness, they don’t want the threat of violence," the director added.
He continued, “We are OK to disagree with each other, but that’s where it ends. We go to vote, who wins wins."
"Half the time I’ve been very happy with who’s won, and the other half the time I haven’t been, and then we move on with our lives," Moore added.
