The star-studded event, attended by Russell Brand, Ted Nugent, Tyrus Murdoch, and Eddie Griffin, quickly became a hot topic online.

Mike Tyson attended President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago event as a dinner guest, alongside several former NBA players and other notable figures, according to The Spun. For the occasion, Tyson made a bold statement by wearing a customized MAGA-style hat that left little to the imagination. 

The red cap featured bold white lettering that read, "Re-Elect That Motherf****r." It's also worth noting that Tyson reportedly received a 'Defender of Freedom' award from Trump during the evening.

The Mar-a-Lago gala, hosted by America’s Future, is chaired by Mike Flynn, who was Trump’s first national security adviser during his initial term. During the event, Trump signed 43 new executive orders, including measures aimed at expanding access to and reducing the costs of in vitro fertilization.

This isn’t the first time Tyson has shown support for Trump. Nearly four decades after being at the top of the heavyweight boxing world, Tyson has endorsed Trump in all three of his presidential campaigns, speaking out in favor of the current president even before he took office. 

According to the New York Post, Tyson said of Trump in 2016, "Now he knows what it’s like when everybody is out to get you. He’s probably never known that to this extent. All those people he sat down with and gave him [things], now those people are saying, ‘We’ve got to get rid of him at all costs'." 

Tyson further shared, "I think it’s a pretty awesome thing that he’s doing so well. People are combining together to make sure he doesn’t win. He’s probably telling himself, ‘They hate me more than they hate [President Barack] Obama.’ You know it’s crazy when people who fought so hard to get rid of Obama would now rather keep him because they hate Trump more than they hate him."
