In 2020, the country-pop singer again had a face-off with the authorities for his alleged disorderly conduct and public intoxication at Kid Rock's Honky Tonk Rock N’ Roll Steakhouse in downtown Nashville.

Initially, he was charged but later charges were dropped, according to The Independent.

At the time, Wallen reportedly shared, "I went out downtown last night with a few old friends. After a couple bar stops, we were horse-playing with each other. We didn't mean any harm, and we want to say sorry to any bar staff or anyone that was affected.”

Morgan Wallen’s racial behavior led to his career decline

However, the son of a local pastor and a teacher could not stay out of trouble for longer as in 2021, he was reportedly seen using the N-word at one of his friends, which created a lot of damage to his career.

He was reportedly banned from appearing in the Country Music Association. Besides, his songs were taken down from Apple Music, Pandora, and Spotify.

The “bad boy of country music” ultimately had to pay $300,000 to the Black Music Action Coalition to compensate for his racist behavior.

He added at the time, “I think I was just ignorant about it. I don't think I sat down and was, like, 'Hey, is this right or is this wrong?”
