WATERFORD TOWNSHIP, MICHIGAN: Former President Donald Trump is seemingly not ready to stop his verbal attacks against longtime advice columnist E Jean Carroll even after being ordered to pay $83.3 million in defamation charges.

The Republican frontrunner made disparaging comments against the writer during a Get Out the Vote Rally in Waterford Township, Michigan, on Saturday, February 17, almost a day after another legal setback in the New York civil fraud trial, as reported by Raw Story.

A Manhattan court in January ordered Trump to pay a hefty penalty to Carroll for defaming her in 2019 by denying the allegation that he sexually assaulted her in the 1990s.

In addition, on February 16, Judge Arthur Engoron charged the ex-president with a massive $355 million fine for illegally inflating the price of his properties in New York to secure favorable bank loans.

Trump asks 'who is' E Jean Carroll

Trump's remarks against Carroll in the Michigan rally looked like a continuation of his denial of the sexual assault accusations. After delivering a tirade about the New York civil fraud judgment, Trump shifted his speech to the Carroll verdict issued by Judge Lewis Kaplan.

"How about the one two weeks ago?" the White House hopeful asked the crowd. "A woman, I'm saying, 'Who the hell is she? Who is the woman?' It's so unfair what's happening in our country. Our court system is a mess."

"What's happening in our country, they have to straighten it out," he added.

Including the January verdict, Carroll has sued Trump twice so far over his defaming comments about her. In the first case, he was ordered to pay $5 million. Though Trump has pledged to appeal the verdict, the possibility of legal success is improbable, according to legal experts.

Furthermore, Carroll has not ruled out the possibility of a third lawsuit against the former real estate mogul. During an MSNBC interview in late January, the writer asserted she would "absolutely" sue Trump if her lawyers found another case against him.

Trump was arraigned during his first court appearance today following an indictment by a grand jury that heard evidence about money paid to adult film star Stormy Daniels before the 2016 presidential election. With the indictment, Trump becomes the first former U.S. president in history to be charged with a criminal offense.

Closing in on the Republican nomination for a likely rematch with President Joe Biden in the upcoming presidential election, Trump's legal battles, including the imminent criminal trial in the hush-money case, are making his White House journey more tumultuous.

Internet warns Trump of another lawsuit

Outraged over Trump's refusal to stop defaming Carroll despite the $83.3 million penalty, netizens slammed Trump, reminding him of a possible third defamation suit.

One user wrote, "Prepare for another lawsuit Mr Loser."

"Trump is incapable of keeping his fat mouth shut. I guess the $83M settlement he has to pay E. Jean Carroll isn’t enough for him to keep her name off his tongue," another said.

A third remarked, "Trump wants to give E. Jean Carroll every cent he could ever possibly earn for the rest of his life."

"People, Donald Trump may be the dullest tool in the shed…" a fourth response read.

One user said, "He's doing this to himself, and he's going to take down the GOP with him."

Another response read, "You did it you’re guilty just admit it quit trying to slide out of it like you’ve always done everything. You’ve got away with things so far but now it’s catching up to you. It’s about damn time."
