MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough mocks MAGA meltdown over Taylor Swift's potential endorsement of Joe Biden
LOS ANGEKES, CALIFORNIA: MSNBC's Joe Scarborough, no stranger to expressing astonishment at Republicans, found himself particularly taken aback on January 31 over what his co-host and wife, Mika Brzezinski, described as the reaction from "MAGA world" to Taylor Swift.
Expressing disbelief, Scarborough stated on 'Morning Joe', "This cannot be real."

Scarborough mocks critics attacking Taylor Swift, calls them 'weenies' and 'triggered little snowflakes'
He went on to characterize those "melting down" over Swift as "weenies" and "triggered little snowflakes".
"Now these weenies, these little snowflakes, these triggered little snowflakes are now going after Taylor Swift. I mean, if you're Taylor Swift you just can't win," remarked Scarborough.
He humorously added, "Well, actually she wins all the time," a sentiment echoed by his co-hosts. Scarborough, a former Republican congressman, noted that Swift had previously been targeted by the "left."
"And now it's the right attacking her. It's just like, just shut up," exclaimed Scarborough.
His mention of "the left" targeting Swift likely alludes to the 2017 calls for her to denounce any "neo-Nazi admirers," prompted by figures like neo-Nazi Andrew Anglin referring to Swift as an "Aryan goddess."
Swift faced similar labels, being dubbed an "alt-right icon" by some during that period.
Republicans express discontent with Taylor Swift's pop culture presence
Presently, Republicans seem discontent with Taylor Swift's prominent position in pop culture, marked by her absence from her highly successful Eras tour and her frequent appearances at Kansas City Chiefs games, given her relationship with tight end Travis Kelce.
Swift has come under intense criticism amid reports hinting at a potential endorsement of President Joe Biden, with rumors circulating that Trump's team is gearing up for a confrontational response, labeled as a "holy war."
Trump campaign national press secretary Karoline Leavitt expressed in an interview that Swift should "stick to writing songs," dismissing the potential endorsement as a "Hail Mary pass." Others, including Fox News' Jeanine Pirro, have advised Swift to avoid delving into politics.
Fox News' Sean Hannity questioned on his show, "As the Biden campaign apparently tries to come up with some way to get Taylor Swift’s endorsement, now we have to ask, does Taylor know who she is getting involved with here?"
Vivek Ramaswamy contributed to the speculation by sharing a conspiracy theory on X, suggesting that the upcoming Super Bowl might be rigged, serving as a setup for a Swift endorsement.
He wrote, "I wonder who’s going to win the Super Bowl next month. And I wonder if there’s a major presidential endorsement coming from an artificially culturally propped-up couple this fall. Just some wild speculation over here, let’s see how it ages over the next 8 months."
