WASHINGTON, DC: Marjorie Taylor Greene appears in no mood to have the United States’ troops and taxpayer dollars be spent fighting wars she believes serve foreign interests over the nation’s own.

The Former Republican firebrand didn’t hold back as she ripped into Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for sharing an AI-generated image with President Donald Trump.

Netanyahu, on May 24, took to his X account to share a dramatic image on X showing himself standing shoulder-to-shoulder with Donald Trump, framed by roaring fighter jets and the American and Israeli flags waving prominently in the background.

"Iran will never have a nuclear weapon,” he wrote over the image, a message that has become central to his rhetoric ever since Israel and the United States moved in lockstep into a rapidly escalating conflict with Tehran.

Resharing Netanyahu’s post, the former Congresswoman fired back by pointing out that Israel already possesses nuclear weapons, while insisting that the United States’ military strength and taxpayer dollars should not be treated as assets for foreign governments to use.

“America’s President and military should not be controlled by a foreign country. The American people are fed up with fighting your wars,” she added.

This came after Greene warned President Trump that putting US boots on the ground in Iran could have dire consequences.

“If you send in U.S. military troops into Iran, there is going to be a political revolution in America,” said Greene. “We said no more foreign wars, and we meant it. The coalition will unite and be unstoppable. I’ll make sure of it.”

She signed off her message with a plea to “end this war,” referring to the ongoing conflict as “stupid.”

MTG’s fallout with Trump

Greene, one of Donald Trump's closest MAGA superstars, turned into a staunch critic as Georgia congresswoman's relentless calls for releasing files related to late offender Jeffrey Epstein and recent criticism of some of his policies led to a bitter public feud.

The criticism led Trump to label her a "traitor" and throw his support behind a Republican challenger to unseat Greene.

Since then, Greene has launched attacks at the president over his decision to launch strikes in the Middle East.

Most recently, she expressed her concerns over Trump attempting to delay the 2028 presidential elections if the United States remains at war, pointing to the president’s repeated comments about serving beyond constitutional term limits.

Greene argued that Trump repeatedly raising the idea of extending his term could gradually normalize it politically. “So, that type of behavior is someone planting an idea over and over,” she said. “And again, he constantly says it so that he can normalize the idea and test the support and test people’s reactions.”

She added that there should be no ambiguity about presidential term limits under the Constitution.“There cannot be a third term, no,” Greene said. “That’s against our laws. That’s against the Constitution. There is no third term. And if this country is at war, no, our election should not be canceled, absolutely not.”
