'Entitled' Lara Trump ridiculed as she attempts to steal Barron's graduation spotlight with new song 'Hero'
PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: Barron Trump's high school graduation was meant to be a day of celebration for the Trump family, but it quickly turned into a spectacle as Lara Trump, the daughter-in-law of former President Donald Trump, chose the very day to release her new song 'Hero'.
Shortly before the graduation ceremony on Friday, May 17, Lara took to Instagram to promote her latest musical endeavor, drawing widespread criticism from netizens.

Lara Trump attempts to steal Barron Trump's graduation spotlight with new song 'Hero'
Taking to Instagram hours before the event, Lara wrote, "As promised to my YUGE fans in the liberal media, more proof of my very unique and creative winter. Honored to have worked on this record with the super talented @madelinejaymes."
However, as the graduation ceremony proceeded, the focus remained firmly on Barron, and Lara's bid to steal the spotlight largely failed, as per BBC.
The Republican National Committee (RNC) co-chair's foray into the music industry is not a new development. She first stepped into the musical spotlight with the release of her single 'I Won't Back Down' in the fall of 2023.
Despite a few months of silence, she reemerged in March 2024 with another track, 'Anything is Possible', hinting she had more projects lined up. True to her word, she dropped 'Hero' on Barron's graduation day.
Her music career, however, has not been met with universal acclaim. Lara has faced substantial criticism, particularly from the Democratic National Committee (DNC).
In March 2024, DNC Chair Jaime Harrison issued a scathing statement, mocking her musical pursuits.
He remarked, "Lara Trump's 'music career' is just like her time at the RNC so far: embarrassing, unserious, and a waste of money."
The DNC even released an AI-generated parody track to further ridicule her efforts and the broader Trump family influence on politics, according to the New York Post.
Lara Trump's ill-timed musical release draws widespread mockery
One said, "No self-awareness whatsoever. She has a lot of people telling her she sounds fabulous because they’re making bucks from her delusion. This is the same person running the RNC. Good luck with that…"
Another quipped, "That’s the perfect 'music' to play when you need to get rid of rodents," and a person joked, "Don't listen if you're looking for reasons to stay alive."
"There are some things even autotune can't fix," remarked someone else, with another person saying, "Lara may very well be the weirdest of the bunch, and that's saying something."
One more expressed, "If only the talent matched the entitlement and ego…"
