DENVER, COLORADO: Lauren Boebert, a Republican hopeful for Colorado's fourth congressional district, faces significant skepticism from constituents despite the district's conservative political leanings.

Their primary point of contention against the GOP congresswoman is the never-ending saga of controversies surrounding her, most notably her ejection from a musical in Denver, captured on camera, where she was seen vaping in the theater and inappropriately groping her date, according to a report by Raw Story.

The ensuing negative publicity has resulted in residents in her new district voicing their mistrust and uncertainties about the firebrand Republican.

Her getting to the spotlight in mainstream media for all the wrong reasons has not only garnered criticism but has also brought her MAGA popularity into question.

Coloradans say Rep Boebert 'is not one of us'

Judy Scofield, a retired university employee, denied the prospect of backing Boebert entirely.

"I don’t appreciate, as a Christian, people saying they’re Christian to get your vote and then turning out to be a lowlife," she told the Wall Street Journal. "And now I just kind of think of her as a lowlife."

Christopher Ware, a Colorado-04 resident, shared a similar view regarding the likelihood of supporting Boebert.

"I will not vote for her. Period," he revealed to the outlet. "She’s not one of us."

Tammi Flemming, a Republican voter, explained that Boebert has "not been well received" by Republicans owing to "the shenanigans and the drama and moving districts."

Representing Colorado's third congressional district since 2021, Rep Boebert declared in December last year that she intends to contest the Centennial State’s fourth congressional district elections in 2024, according to a report by The New Republic.

The aforementioned accounts are substantiated by data indicating that Bobert is exceedingly unpopular throughout the state of Colorado.

In January, the Independent published an extensive analysis evaluating Boebert's prospects of securing victory in a crowded race.

Local residents and officials from both political parties have accused the MAGA-aligned congresswoman of carpetbagging, abandoning her constituents, and exhibiting reprehensible behavior at 'Beetlejuice' the musical.

Catherine Thurston, who works for a local newspaper in the rural town of Limon, attests that Rep Boebert has a big problem awaiting her this year.

Thurston argued her stance to the outlet, “If you’re not going to spend time talking face-to-face with people out here, you’re probably not going to get the vote.”

Boebert’s likely GOP competitor for the seat, Rep Richard Holtorf remarked, “She’s a deserter. She’s deserting her people out of political expediency.”

Internet mocks Rep Lauren Boebert over lost credibility

People on X trolled the 37-year-old Republican congresswoman for struggling to convince Republicans in her new district to vote for her in the upcoming state primary elections.

One X user remarked, "I think Colorado has already moved on from the Boebert circus. The primary vote in June will just memorialize it."

Another said, "My opinion. Another extremist. Vote them out and vote in moderates in both parties. Vote in 2024."

Someone else wrote, "She won by the skin of her teeth (less than 500 votes, I believe). They need to vote her out this time around."

One user claimed, "She's very unpopular in her new district, no way can she win next election."

Another X user quipped, "Low life is correct! lol"

"Well, we will see what happens in the election. Repubs hav been voting for some pretty horrible people for a while," a tweet read.
