BALTIMORE, MARYLAND: A star-studded crowd including former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi turned out for a dramatic AFC Championship game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, January 28.

However, Nancy received a rude welcome from fans when boos rang out as the lifelong Ravens supporter arrived with husband Paul Pelosi. The politician put the backlash aside to cheer on her hometown team, who put up a fight but ultimately fell short of reaching the Super Bowl, as reported by Daily Mail.

Nancy Pelosi is a longtime fan of Baltimore Ravens 

Nancy, who was born and raised in Baltimore, attended the game at M&T Bank Stadium with her husband Paul. As a longtime Ravens fan, Nancy likely hoped her hometown team would earn a trip to the Super Bowl with a win.

However, as the couple's black SUV pulled up to the VIP entrance, boos could be heard from the crowds held back by security guards. Nancy and her husband smiled as they briskly walked past fans into the stadium.

Notably, Nancy's husband Paul was the victim of a brutal hammer attack by an intruder at the couple's San Francisco home in 2022. After waking up in the hospital following brain surgery, Paul's first words were about the Ravens. "Oh, your mother’s going to be very happy because the Ravens won last night," Paul told his son.

As the representative of San Francisco for over 30 years, Nancy has had to balance her loyalty between her hometown Ravens and the San Francisco 49ers. When the two teams met in the 2013 Super Bowl, she admitted "I am rooting for the 49ers, I am not rooting against Baltimore."

In addition to the politician's appearance, several A-list celebrities attended the momentous game. Nancy's arrival was shortly followed by music superstar Taylor Swift. She sat with her boyfriend Travis Kelce's mother, Donna Kelce, and friends including actress Keleigh Sperry Teller and model Cara Delevingne.

One X user bluntly stated, "Nobody likes her here." Another questioned Pelosi's response, humorously noting, "What was her reaction? I cannot tell cuz Botox."

A third user raised the geographical aspect, asking, "Why is Pelosi in Baltimore, she is from San Francisco??? Ohh San Francisco didn't want her." Adding a playful twist, someone chimed in with, "Nancy Boolosi.
