LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jake Paul’s girlfriend, Olympic speed skater Jutta Leerdam, has expressed concern that boxing legend Mike Tyson could knock out Paul with a single punch in their highly anticipated upcoming fight.

The clash between Paul and Tyson is set to take place on November 15 at the AT&T Stadium in Texas. While Leerdam has confidence in Paul's progress as a fighter, she admits the danger Tyson poses with his powerful punches.

Jutta Leerdam believes Mike Tyson could knock out Jake Paul

Jake Paul, known for his success in the ring since his 2020 professional debut, is gearing up for one of his biggest challenges against the former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson, who still holds a reputation as one of the hardest-hitting fighters in the sport.

Leerdam opened up about her boyfriend's preparation and skills while acknowledging the danger that Tyson poses in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

"The progression Jake has made is not normal. Other athletes, they make a few percentage points of progression a year, if at all," Leerdam spoke about Paul’s development as a boxer.

However, despite her pride in Paul's improvement, Leerdam admitted Tyson’s legendary punching power could be a serious threat.

"Of course, Mike Tyson could give one punch that is harder than Mike has ever thrown — and it will be lights out for Jake," she said, keeping a realistic view of the challenge ahead.

Mike Tyson returns to boxing at 58 after long hiatus and ulcer flair

Mike Tyson, 58, hasn't fought in a professional boxing match since 2005, when he suffered a defeat to Kevin McBride.

He did, however, step into the ring in 2020 for an exhibition bout against Roy Jones Jr.

Despite his age, Tyson has been training intensely for his showdown with Paul after overcoming health issues.

Tyson had to pull out of the original fight date in July due to an ulcer flare-up, which he attributed to bad food, but he has since returned to full training.

During an appearance on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live', Tyson shared, "I am training extremely hard, I do six hours a day."

Jake Paul aims to knock out legend 'Iron Mike'

Jake Paul, 27, remains confident ahead of the fight despite Mike Tyson's fearsome reputation.

He has repeatedly mocked Tyson and how he will beat him. More recently he posted a video flaunting his big belly in a workout video ahead fight leaving the Internet in splits.

Paul has made a name for himself in the boxing world by defeating several well-known fighters, including Ben Askren, Tyron Woodley, Anderson Silva, and Nate Diaz. His only loss came last year in a points decision against Tommy Fury.

In September, Paul confidently said, "You're going to watch me knock out one of the greatest to ever do it, whether you like it or not," per Fox Business.

He said, "I'm just confident in my ability. I've been training. I've been active," he said. "He's an animal. The baddest man on the planet. But that's what they say about all my opponents."

"He wants to fight me, and so it's an honor for me to be in there with a legend. But I have to do what I do best, and that's put people to sleep," Paul added.

Jake Paul and Jutta Leerdam discuss family plans

Outside the ring, Jake Paul has been looking forward to starting a family with Jutta Leerdam.

On his podcast, 'BS w/ Jake Paul', he discussed his fatherhood ambitions but mentioned that they would have to wait until Leerdam, an Olympic silver medalist, is ready.

"Jutta is on a delayed timeline here 'cause of her sport," Paul said, adding, "As soon as she's done on her own terms, then we're gonna pop out a giant baby," TMZ reported.

Paul believes their future children will be "superstar athletes," considering his success in boxing and Leerdam's achievements in speed skating.

The couple has been together since April 2023, after meeting on Instagram, and Paul has often expressed his affection for Leerdam.

On their first anniversary, Paul said, "I love every moment with you, even sitting in silence too. As long as you’re there I’ll be okay. I fall more in love with you every day," showing the deep connection between the two.
