Patrick and Brittany Mahomes’ icy demeanor at Softball Championship series hints at marriage troubles

OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLAHOMA: From being high school sweethearts to being doting parents of three, Patrick and Brittany Mahomes have been each other’s MVPs for over a decade.
But now, their marriage appears to be going through a rough patch as they seemed to be particularly icy toward one another while attending a game of the Women's Softball Championship series on Friday, June 6, according to The List.

Patrick and Brittany Mahomes appear distant at Softball Championship series
As the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback’s off-season continues, he and his wife, Brittany Mahomes, are busy making public appearances at notable celebrity events.
Last week, the couple was seen attending Game 3 of the Division I Women's Softball Championship series at the USA Softball Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City.

At the game, Brittany was seen donning a white, high-neck athletic shirt while Patrick rocked a pair of large dark shades and showed his support for the Texas Tech Red Raiders in a Tech jersey and matching ballcap featuring the Red Raiders logo.
However, what caught the public's eye was the physical distance between the couple as they sat stoic and stone-faced in a private box.
It’s possible that the Texas Tech Red Raiders’ embarrassing defeat against the Texas Longhorns soured Patrick's mood, as both he and Brittany seemed to be particularly icy toward one another on Friday, with no smiles or PDA being on display during the event.
The couple, who exchanged vows in 2022, have been together for more than 13 years, having started their relationship in March 2012 when Patrick was a sophomore and Brittany was a junior at Whitehouse High School in East Texas.

Together, the pair shares three children: daughter Sterling, born in September 2020, son Bronze, born in November 2022, and their youngest daughter, Golden, whom the couple welcomed in January this year.
Brittany Mahomes fired back at Joe Rogan over divorce comments
Brittany Mahomes has not been shy about defending her marriage to Patrick Mahomes. In 2023, just a year after their dreamy wedding, the former soccer player clapped back at Joe Rogan for commenting on their marriage.

During one of his podcasts, the UFC commentator was discussing the Mahomes family with comedians and fellow podcasters Shane Gillis, Mark Normand, and Ari Shaffir, and they started roasting Brittany and Jackson Mahomes, Patrick’s younger brother, specifically, according to Fox News.
Joe Rogan and his co-hosts went after Patrick Mahomes’ family.

This may be who Brittany was referring to in her tweet yesterday about grown adults coming after her. pic.twitter.com/32USfhx0RK
"You know what I like, though, I came around on Jackson Mahomes. I’m a fan. His brother who does TikToks and his annoying wife that screams everyone hates on them and it actually makes me happy," Gillis said.
"Patrick Mahomes has a wife who’s just wild. She’s up in the box and films herself…and Patrick is obviously the man, and then he’s got a crazy wife and a brother up in the box, doing all that s***,” he added.
Rogan then chimed in, saying, "The problem is they keep that same energy when you get divorced. They come after you with that same energy."
In response to the podcast episode, Brittany tweeted, "Something about grown men talking s*** about someone’s wife is real weird… 🤔."
