Viral photos show Jennifer Lopez and Diddy in heated argument
The now-viral photos of Jennifer Lopez and Diddy reportedly taken in September 2000 capture a heated moment between the two at the now-closed Lotus nightclub, reported the Daily Mail.
A witness at the exclusive event shared details about the exchange between the rapper and 'On The Floor' singer. "Diddy held a Cristal champagne bottle the entire time serving his guests. Everyone was dancing and enjoying themselves but as the night progressed, tensions rose between him and JLo," the source said.
This drama unfolded just hours after the duo attended the award show earlier that evening at Radio City Music Hall.
During the ceremony, Lopez wowed in her iconic all-white ensemble, featuring a cropped rhinestone tank top, matching low-rise pants, and a bedazzled bandana.
For the afterparty, she changed into a colorful geometric-patterned mini-tube dress. The event was co-hosted by rappers Eminem and Dr Dre and featured other notable guests, including David Blaine, Steven Dorff, Josie Maran, and model Carmen Kass, who entertained the crowd with card tricks.
At the time, Lopez, then 31, had just won the award for Best Dance Video award for her hit song 'Waiting for Tonight'.
In the photos, Lopez can be seen scowling at Diddy, who was pouring champagne for other guests, before their argument escalated.
Nearby, Lopez's sister attempted to diffuse the tension by dancing. Witnesses recalled the shocked expressions of other partygoers as the situation unfolded.
As the argument continued for several hours, Diddy eventually left the party with Lopez and their entourage, which included several girls. The resurfaced images of their confrontation have added another layer to Diddy’s ongoing allegations.
While the party was filled with joyful moments, the reasons behind the heated exchange and the escalation of tensions amid the festivities remain unclear.
