Prince Harry was not informed about King Charles' hospitalization, heard the news like rest of the world

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Prince Harry’s relationship with King Charles shows no sign of improvement as the Duke of Sussex is said to have known about his father's recent hospitalization when the news broke - just like anyone else.
On Thursday, the 76-year-old monarch was briefly hospitalized after he suffered side effects due to his ongoing cancer treatment. The king was previously diagnosed with cancer last year and has since been undergoing weekly treatment.
According to a statement shared by Buckingham Palace, the king was admitted to The London Clinic in London after he suffered some side effects from his cancer treatment. However, the recent update about the monarch’s health reached his younger son, Prince Harry, only when the news broke on Thursday evening.
Prince Harry had no idea about his father’s hospitalization
As reported by The Mirror, Prince Harry had no idea about his father’s hospitalization earlier in the day, and learned about it along with everyone else when the news broke in the evening.

The king was released from the hospital after a short stint in the evening and returned to Clarence House. Nevertheless, he canceled a trip to Birmingham following medical advice.
As per the outlet, the palace did not inform Harry about his father’s admission because they allegedly did not “want to cause unnecessary alarm" by contacting the duke, who lives across the pond.
Sources say Prince Harry feels lonely in California
King Charles’ health scare came as a second blow to the 40-year-old prince, as The Mirror reported that the father-of-two is already embroiled in a battle regarding his charity Sentable, which he founded in honor of his late mother, Princess Diana.
Speaking to an outlet, an insider shared that Harry’s work schedules are no longer as packed as they used to be, now that he has unceremoniously resigned from the charity he founded. They shared that the news of his father’s health would only make the Duke of Sussex miss his home more than he already does.
The sources shared that Harry has been left feeling lost and “lonely” in America as he has been living away from his family. Moreover, he “barely speaks to” many of those family members as well.
Speaking to The Sun, a source shared, "He misses his family terribly, but no one is speaking to him any more. He just wants to go for a beer with the guys, but his only friends are just Meghan's friends' husbands."
Another source told The Times about the loneliness the ‘Spare’ author might be feeling now that he is away from his family.
"I know how important it is for him to have a happy, settled family life, but you need to do more than that if you're him,” shared the source, before adding, “He has ended up isolated from his family and most of his old mates, in an environment where your friendships are not like the ones you forged as a young man."
They added, "He used to love a night out in the pub and hanging out in the country with friends. Maybe he has grown into a different person, but do I think he'd really suit the Californian lifestyle? No. Now we've seen it all play out, what has that left him with? On the surface, an enviable lifestyle — but for the Harry I know, I can't imagine that gilded exile in California is where he wanted to end up."
