LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Prince Harry appeared to make subtle criticisms of Donald Trump, a day after King Charles invited the US president for an “unprecedented” state visit.

The former senior royal member discussed investment during his surprise appearance at the Upfront Summit in Los Angeles on Thursday, February 27. But he also made some political remarks, as reported by the Daily Mail.

Harry said, “Now this would be a great time to talk about how a sickness in leadership across sectors - from politics to tech - can have a detrimental effect on millions, if not billions, of people.”

Prince Harry talks about abandonment of ‘morals and empathy’ for power

“When service to others is sacrificed for personal gain. When basic morals and empathy are abandoned in favor of power and control. But I'm not gonna get into all that now!” Harry added, without naming anyone directly.

The father-of-two, 40, then spoke about how he'd "never been allowed to vote" in elections but he knows "the power of serving firsthand."

“I'm not one to be caught in the divide between left or right views, not cornered by a belief in blue or red - hell, I've never even been allowed to vote!” he stated.

“From my institutional role traveling the world to my decade of duties in the military, I saw the power of serving others firsthand," Harry claimed.

Harry asserted, "My personal experiences overseas taught me that when you put others first, you build stronger, more sustainable systems. That's true from Nigeria to Nepal, and from Sydney to Santa Barbara."

The Duke of Sussex made the remarks hours after UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer met Donald Trump at the White House on Thursday and even gave him the monarch’s invitation letter so that he could visit London for the second time.

The Republican leader reportedly accepted the invitation happily as he said, as per LBC, “The answer is yes - and we look forward to being there and honoring the King. It would be an honor to be there.”
