Prince Harry's chance of becoming William's top adviser 'out of the window' after feud, royal expert says
LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM: Prince Harry's chance of becoming the top adviser for his elder brother Prince William, if he ever becomes the King, is now completely "out the window" due to the royal rift, theorizes a royal commentator.
The bitter estrangement between the brothers will act as the catalyst for Harry losing his role as a potential adviser to the Prince of Wales when he takes up the royal duties of his father, King Charles III, in the future.
Royal expert says Prince Harry and Prince William are now far apart
Royal expert and commentator Charles Rae recently reflected on the changed arc of the relationship between the two princes during an appearance on The Sun's Royal Exclusive show, as per The Mirror.
Rae explained that William and Harry have always been there for each other with the Duke of Sussex being the natural choice for William's top adviser if he becomes the King of England.
However, Harry's decision to step down from royal duties and eventual relocation to the US in 2020 created a massive rift between the two brothers that nobody expected.
The relationship between the feuding princes deteriorated when the Duke of Sussex made bombshell claims against his brother in his controversial autobiography 'Spare'.
Given the circumstances, the royal commentator thinks it is highly probable that William will probably seek his advisers from a different circle and not rely on his brother.
Rae recently told The Sun, "When William becomes King, I always believed Harry would be one of his top advisers. I think that's out of the window. They [Prince William and Prince Harry] were really, really close. And this is what makes it so sad that they're now so far apart."
"That's what Diana always wanted, the boys to remain as close as possible, they had each other, and it was them against the rest of the world but of course now it's not happening," added Rae, according to The Mirror.
Another royal commentator, Tom Quinn, reflected on the brothers' "awkward" relationship while talking to the outlet.
Quinn conjectured that when Harry visits the UK in May for the 10th anniversary of his Invictus Games, he would have no other choice but to meet King Charles and Prince William.
He said, "Barring a major upset, Harry will certainly return to the UK for the Invictus games in May – it's his baby. If he decides not to come, it will take some explaining, because everyone will assume it's because he doesn't want the awkwardness of having to meet his brother or having to choose not to meet him."
Meghan Markle may not accompany her husband to the UK
While speculations are rife about Harry's upcoming visit to the UK, royal historian Marlene Koenig says Meghan Markle may not be joining her husband in his journey across the pond.
Koenig recently shared with GB News, "I don't think Meghan will be visiting the UK anytime soon. I think she's done with that. Unless there's something major like a funeral. But Harry and Meghan's life is in the US," as per The Mirror.
