Rosie O’Donnell mocked as she lists 2 conditions for US return after moving to Ireland to escape Trump

DUBLIN, IRELAND: Rosie O’Donnell has disclosed two conditions on which she’s ready to move back to the US after shifting to Ireland earlier this year before President Donald Trump’s second term began.
The 63-year-old comedian shared her thoughts while speaking to Variety about her ‘And Just Like That…’ and ‘Hacks’ appearances.

Rosie O’Donnell will only return to US when 'this administration is completely finished'
When asked if she was considering joining any other comedies, Rosie O’Donnell replied, “I was supposed to do, right before I left, an episode of 'Poker Face'. I’m hoping that I’ll be able to do that, although I don’t know — with the current political climate, when would it be safe to come back with my child?”
“I’m not going to push it before this administration is completely finished, and hopefully held accountable for their crimes,” she added.
This came after, in April, the former 'The View' host claimed that she doesn't regret leaving America.
Rosie O’Donnell left the US for Ireland before Donald Trump’s inauguration
On her move to Ireland, Rosie O’Donnell told CNN’s 'The Situation Room', as per The Daily Beast, “I knew after reading Project 2025 that if Trump got in, it was time for me and my non-binary child to leave the country.”
“And although I was not one of the celebrities who announced that that’s what I would do, I made the decision within my family and my therapist should he win,” she added.
O’Donnell further mentioned that she and her 12-year-old child Clay were “gone before he [Trump] was inaugurated.”
Though the ‘Star Search’ alum is content with her life away from the US, she feels “heartbroken” to see the Republican leader paying “no mind to any of the laws that the founders stood by and that our country stands for and that is a beacon of shining light and freedom for the rest of the world.”
“It’s as bad as they promised and even a little bit worse. And it’s been heartbreaking and personally very, very sad to watch,” she claimed.
