DUBLIN, IRELAND: Rosie O’Donnell reignited her feud with Donald Trump as she blamed the president for the cancellation of Stephen Colbert’s ‘Late Night Show’, claiming he will "arrest every artist that disagrees with him.”

On Thursday, July 17, CBS announced that Colbert’s long-running franchise would come to an end in May 2026, justifying the cancellation as a “purely financial decision against a challenging backdrop in late night.”

Following CBS’ announcement, the 63-year-old comedian took to her TikTok to post her concerns over freedom of speech and made numerous claims about the president’s health, wildly claiming he suffers from dementia and other issues.

"I think Americans should stand up and say, ‘No way. You’re not going to silence us. You don’t have the right to silence us. You never did. And you never will. We, the people, have the right to speak up against atrocities, which are happening on a daily basis.’ ICE, his own personal Gestapo — what will it take, America? What will it take?" she questioned.

"He’s gonna arrest every artist that disagrees with him, and pretty much every artist does. Whether or not they’re brave enough to say it is another thing,” added the ‘Rosie Show’ host.

She continued, “This madman, this mentally incapacitated, physically ill, mentally ill man, is spiraling out of control. His dementia is out of control, his self-regulation — which he has none of to begin with — is missing, and, you know, he’s horrible.”

Reflecting on the axing of Colbert’s show, O’Donnell accused the Commander-in-Chief of forcing CBS to “give in to the blackmail.”

"What’s going on with Stephen Colbert, right? One of the most brilliant minds we’ve ever had in comedy, A very loving and compassionate man. I admire him very much. And he’s courageous and brave. And CBS decided to give in to the blackmail that Donald Trump forced them to,” she added.

O’Donnell’s remarks were about Paramount Global’s controversial $16 million settlement with Trump, following his lawsuit alleging that a “60 Minutes” interview with Kamala Harris was deceptively edited to boost her election prospects.

Donald Trump celebrates axing of Stephen Colbert’s show

Rosie O’Donnell’s scathing attack came after the 79-year-old president celebrated CBS’ announcement of cancelling Stephen Colbert’s show.

"I absolutely love that Colbert got fired. His talent was even less than his ratings. I hear Jimmy Kimmel is next,” he wrote in a Truth Social post.

“Has even less talent than Colbert! Greg Gutfeld is better than all of them combined, including the Moron on NBC who ruined the once great Tonight Show,” he added.

Over the past years, Trump and Colbert have been trading brutal blows, with the host even slamming his bosses over the CBS parent company’s payout to Trump in a dispute over a “60 Minutes” interview.

Paramount is also seeking approval from Trump’s Federal Communications Commission for a merger deal with fellow entertainment giant Skydance, Colbert noted.

“I believe this kind of complicated financial settlement with a sitting government official has a technical name in legal circles: It’s ‘big fat bribe,'” the comedian quipped in his fierce monologue.
