Ryan Anderson ‘cried’ after paternity result named Ken Urker as Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s baby daddy

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Ryan Anderson, ex-husband of Gypsy Rose Blanchard, is finally opening up about the emotional toll of learning the truth behind the paternity of Blanchard’s baby.

On the latest episode of 'Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up', Anderson candidly shared how deeply it affected him to see the official paternity results online.

"When those results come back that was hard to see. I cried when I saw that," Ryan Anderson revealed in a confessional.

"It was hard for me to look at that piece of paper because she still had my last name. It says Gypsy-Rose Alcida Anderson and then the father, Ken whatever his last name is."

Reportedly, for Anderson, it wasn’t just about biology; it was about identity, emotion, and unresolved feelings.

"It just hurt to see her name with somebody else as the dad, like with my last name. That’s what hurt," he continued.

As per reports, even though Anderson admitted he was mostly sure he wasn't the father, there was still that lingering doubt, an emotional loophole that kept his hopes, fears, and pain alive.

"Every time I would mention her pregnancy on social media, every time, I’d always say, 'But, I’m probably not the father,' and I think I even said that in a TikTok Live, like 'I’m 90% sure I’m not the father.'"

"But, there’s still that 10% of, I don’t know. I don't know what I don’t know, right?" he added. "So, you know, 10% is 10%."

Gypsy Rose Blanchard welcomes daughter Aurora Raina with Ken Urker 

While Ryan Anderson dealt with heartache and confusion, Gypsy Rose Blanchard officially welcomed her daughter, Aurora Raina Urker, with boyfriend Ken Urker on January 1, 2025.

In a touching Instagram announcement, Urker shared a photo of Blanchard in a hospital bed, lovingly holding their newborn child, who was dressed in a soft pink hat.

"Welcoming 2025 with the greatest gift of all 👼," he captioned the post.

The announcement put an end to speculation surrounding the child’s paternity, a topic that had been swirling online for weeks before Blanchard addressed it head-on.

Though the paternity was publicly confirmed before Aurora was born, the paperwork and court proceedings are still being sorted, leaving Anderson with an unavoidable connection to Blanchard despite their split.

"We're still dealing with some things wrapped around the paternity, believe it or not, getting the paperwork finalized for that," Blanchard told People.

"So it's like I took the test before she was born, and I posted that Instagram that shut all the rumors of who the father was down, so it was clear, but then you have the court proceeding part of it, you have to follow up on," she explained.

"And so that is currently what we are dealing with. So Ryan is not out of the picture yet."
