Ryan Reynolds accused of 'icing out' Morena Baccarin from 'Deadpool' promotions: 'Blake was jealous'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: A viral TikTok video has reignited speculation about Ryan Reynolds’ treatment of his 'Deadpool' co-star Morena Baccarin, drawing comparisons to the ongoing legal feud between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni.
The video, posted by TikToker @mugglesdaily, cites a blind item from July 2024, alleging that Reynolds “completely iced out” Baccarin during promotional events for 'Deadpool & Wolverine.'

Viral video sparks debate over 'Deadpool' promotion
The TikToker pointed out that Baccarin, who plays Vanessa Carlysle in the 'Deadpool' franchise, appeared to be absent from many promotional activities and was often seen posing alone in event photos.
“Looks like a pattern is emerging as I found this blind item stating that Ryan Reynolds completely iced out Morena Baccarin and she was not included in any of the promotion for Deadpool & Wolverine," she claimed, linking the situation to Baldoni's reported exclusion from promotional events for 'It Ends With Us'.
The TikToker compared the situation to Blake and Justin, pointing out that Justin was also absent from several 'It Ends With Us' press events. He often gave interviews alone instead of with the rest of the cast, which led to speculation among fans.
The TikToker also appeared curious about the nature of the tension between the two actors. She speculated that Morena might have taken issue with certain jokes in the film, and perhaps Ryan’s "ego couldn't take it."
The video quickly gained traction on social media, with many fans questioning what may have caused the supposed tension between Reynolds and Baccarin.
As discussions around the TikTok video intensified, past allegations about Reynolds’ on-set behavior resurfaced.
In 2022, 'Deadpool' actor TJ Miller claimed on 'The Adam Carolla Show' that Reynolds was “horrifically mean” to him while filming. Miller, who played Weasel in the first two films, recalled a moment where Reynolds, in character as Deadpool, made a condescending remark about his role in the movie.
Though Reynolds later reached out to clarify that his comment was not ill-intentioned, Miller maintained that he found the interaction unsettling and had no plans to work with Reynolds again.
